50 Cent Before I Self Destruct
I didn't even realise this was out until I seen it in the iTunes Store the other evening. Anyway, tonight I've been shopping around on all the usuall download sites: Amazon, Play & & Digital to see how the price compared to itunes, In Plays case it was cheaper but then I noticed one track was missing, which is actually the same as the Amazon MP3 version of the album.
This got me curious as to what songs were on the physical CD release. So I've looked that up in Amazon too and all I can say is WTF? It's a completely different track listing. What the hell is going on? CD album on Amazon MP3 album on Amazon |

I aint sure. I downloaded it 4 weeks ago when it leaked. My album is the same listing as the MP3 version on amazon. That CD version is wrong. Phycho feat eminem is not even on there.

The album leaked a little while ago and is the same version as the Amazon MP3s. Since then a few outtakes from the album have leaked and were rumoured to be replacing some songs on the album but that is not the case at all. Album is due for release next Tuesday in America but has been on sale over here since Monday. Not sure how many people know of the release date being pulled forward so i don't know how much of a dent it will make in the charts.

So no ones any the wiser as to why the cd tracklist is completely different. Thanks for replying anyway. I think I'll go in hmv and look at the back of the cd.

One in HMV is the same as MP3s. That other tracklist was the one announced back in March. Near enough all the songs were scrapped and he had to go re record the album. But by all means go and look for yourself.

I've got the album now and I've got to say I'm very disappointed, though I had low expectations before I even heard it. It's a real let down, Fiddys lost it in my opinion. I think he peaked with The Massacre, that's my favourite album of his.
There are a few minor stand outs that save it from being a completely dire album in my opinion. Those being Ok, You're Right, Flight 187, Baby By Me and Psycho (which is great because of an Eminem album stealing cameo). A quick question though. Is it just my imagination or is the chorus on Baby By Me which goes "Have a baby by me baby be a millionaire" a sample of 50 from another track? I'm sure it is. |
