I was actually wondering if he will be back, if his flu was very severe there is a chance that his doctor may keep him resting. I imagine we'll find out for sure tomorrow.

I hope he is back because that will mean he's better

Whether or not he should come back next series is another matter entirely

If he is back, what's the betting the studio audience get told to give him a standing ovation for being so brave to come back after being ill.

Na, Brucie was never ill. [conspiracy mode] He just did not want to participate in last weeks scripted farce. When he read the script involving two injured dancers just to boost the ratings, he said "No thanks, I'll have a pass this week.".[/conspiracy mode]

Seriously. I'm glad he will be back. If only for sentimental reasons. We've all seen last week that the show can very well go on without him (comforting thought), but it is still his show. We will all lament the day he's really gone.

I wish him better. Flu is a nasty illness, particularly at his age.

He shouldn't rush back though. He needs to make sure he's fully recuperated

It is NOT "his show". It's a show about celebrities being taught to dance and compete against each other. Where on earth do you get the idea from that it's "his" show? He's just one of the presenters.

I hated Bruce when I was young and on 'The Generation Game'.

I love him now and will put up with minor irritations - he's the 'heart' of the show for me, though he can get it wrong and be a twit.

I'm looking forward to his return.

i wish him well but no im dreading it infact no doubt he will milk it needing the audience to cheer him and give him an ovation and without doubt he will say that "i have one week off and everyones injured" it will turn into the brucie show yet again

Nope. He should take another week off to make sure he's fully recovered.

Bruce being back would mean that he's feeling better, which is a good thing.

However, I'd prefer it if he didn't come back (for reasons other than his health, obviously ).

Yes he will bring back a bit of decorum to a flaging series.

I did think the show had lost some of it's magic last Saturday, not sure if that was because Bruce was missing or because there was so much drama.

I don't know why there's so much fuss made about Bruce, most of what he says goes over my head, it hardly bothers me.

Though hang on! All of what Tess said went over my head, she's so bland she might as well not have been there either.

Completely agree - wish him well but it's not HIS show and I don't want him back. The show would be a lot slicker without him.

I dont wish ill on Bruce, after all, it causes me no undue pain to hit the fast forward button thru his segments, but i must say I really liked claudia's involvment last week.

Yes, I really missed fast-forwarding through his bits when I watched the recording of last week's show.
