No, I'm not looking forward to the return of The Bruce Forsyth Show.
![]() I much preferred a show about dancing last Saturday. |

It is NOT "his show". It's a show about celebrities being taught to dance and compete against each other. Where on earth do you get the idea from that it's "his" show? He's just one of the presenters.
![]() No more no less. This thread is about Forsyth returning as a presenter of the show. That's what I was referring to. |

No not at all Claudia wiped the floor with Tess and Tess did a much better job of presenting than Bruce does.
Ronnie Corbett was pointless and just made me cringe. Leave it to the women from now on - at last the BBC have made a change to Strictly that actually works - even if it was stumbled across by accident !

I hope he is feeling better but sorry, I much preferred the show without him.
It was all speculation before but now we've seen it work without him. Sorry Bruce

Not in the least.
I wish him no ill, but it'll be back to the iPlayer for me. I want to break the telly when I see him acting as if it's his programme - it's NOT! |

Won't be sorry to see him back, but wasn't sorry he was missing last Saturday... Tess was surprisingly competent once she was moved out of the role of empathising with the celebs, and Claudia is lovely and funny and quirky and did a much better job backstage than Tess usually does.

I think that Tess did well last week, at least there weren't any toe curling jokes followed by half hearted laughter and the "well I thought it was funny" plea which for me is just
![]() Thought Claudia was great

I hated Bruce when I was young and on 'The Generation Game'.
I love him now and will put up with minor irritations - he's the 'heart' of the show for me, though he can get it wrong and be a twit. I'm looking forward to his return. ![]() |

The girls managed perfectly well without him - could have done without the farcical entrance of Ronnie Corbett though.

I think Tess did just fine last week and Claudia was brilliant, but I just didn't enhoy having tess as the main presenter. I don't think it's because she's female, I think it's probably because I find her a bit irritating. I know a lot of people criticise Brucie but I think he suits the show and can't think of anyone I'd rather have take over. If I was forced to choose I'd go for Graham Borton as he was great on the Andrew Lloyd Webber shows and I enjoyed him when they did those two summers of 'Strictly Dance Fever' (I think that's what it was called).

I am actually quite dreading it.
Those gags are so lame they are embarrassing. Grow old gracefully, Bruce. You are turning into a bit of a joke yourself, I fear. |

I don't know why we're getting headlines about him 'Returning' on DS, its not like it was ever in doubt.
But....last week has made me realise I could really take or leave him. |
