Whats the betting that Brucie will get a standing ovation when he comes on stage as he has recovered from flu.
Whats the betting he'll make a crappy joke about him missing last weeks show and how ill he was and how good Tess did and how good the show will be this week cos he's back...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz |

I am, as I didn't really enjoy last week's show. I don't know if it was the high emotion of it all but, it wasn't the same show for me without Bruce steadying the helm.
Love him or hate him he is part of the reason why the show became so popular and I thought last week's programme showed that the beeb will have to think very long and hard about who does replace him. If anything I thought it showed how easily Tess could be replaced as I thought Claudia was fantastic, and I didn't "zone out" when the couples were being interviewed after their dances!

I'm glad he's back. I prefer it when Bruce is presenting.

Anyone ?
![]() Although I wouldn't mind Tess taking over from him and Claudia taking over from Tess when Bruce steps down.

It's time the totally unfunny Old fart was shipped out
his singing a couple of weeks ago was appalling - and his one liners are older than he is new blood urgently required |

He's gonna be extra awful tonight.....
1) Cos he missed last weeks show so he's got twice the amount of awful jokes to make 2) He'll be out for sympathy for being off sick last week I can feel myself cringing already! |

I am dreading it. Perhaps that's why the Jade business is being made so much of.
Otherwise we'd be signing petitions to enforce Bruce's retirement. |

Don't wish him any harm but really can't do with him at all. I always mute him.
Long past time for him to retire imo. |

I have grown up watching Brucie so I have a great fondness of him, however I wish he would bow out gracefully now because I don't want my memories of him to be of a bumbling dithering unfunny has been. I cringe when I see him trying to tell a joke. I admire that he still wants to work in his 80's but it's time he enjoyed some retirement now and moved over to let someone younger take over.
