I agree its gone beyond a joke now and is just annoying and cringeworthy. I like Claudia but she has no interest in wanting to learn to dance, because Len has been explaining the same dances to her for the past hundred years and she still hasn't a clue.

It could be a very enlightening part of ITT for anyone wanting to learn if they had someone who really was interested in learning.
Why don't they bring back some of the past celebs who managed to do well on SCD and let Len demonstrate some of the steps and moves with them.

Me too! Before this series I hated Len's Masterclass, but the tone this year is just right!

ITT (and Claudia) has been on top form this series, a vast improvement compared with the last couple of years - 10/10 for me!

It's a bit of fun!! 5 minutes of mucking about in an entire week of shows isn't too much and I still find them quite funny. The rest of the week is dedicated to serious dancing, I actually welcome a very brief break from it.

I wouldn't want to watch it every day, but I enjoy it once a week.

There seems to have been some confusion with the word charisma

It isn't synonymous with bland.

Anything innocent and charming which makes people laugh surely can't be pointless?”

I agree AD, especially with all the sagas in this series of SCD like waiting to hear how Jade is every night.

Actually, much as a I love Brucie I did think Tess did a fabulous job in his place on Saturday night and Claudia was better than Tess in the Tesspit. I could go for them as the two presenters.

I'll vote for that too - Quiz mike would better if we have to have a 'stats' bit on the show.

The stats are pointless.

Whatever a dance scored in the past was only relative to the other dances performed that night "and how generous/critical the judges felt at that moment."

Good plan, Buddy

Quizmike can have my vote too if he wants it

Todays Rumba Masterclass was a piece of comic gold. I was in hysterics (as were Len and Claude)

Have they done the lifts in a Smooth yet?

I so laughed at Len tonight trying to control the less-than-elegant-superbly-executed lines that are not our Claudia

Did anyone else catch his Health and Safety Award comment?

I agree with the OP.
I love Claudia, and I love ITT but this section is just stupid and pointless.
If they had any intention of really teaching/learning anything, Claudia would take of those shoes for starters, and stop over doing the 'I'm so clumsy' act.
Perhaps if they did it once per series it'd be funny, but once a week is as bad as seeing Bruce's shuffle every Saturday.

I normally really can't stand Len and hate any of his segments, but this year's masterclass is guaranteed to get me laughing. My kids and I chuckle through the whole segment, mostly because of Claudia's perfect comic timing and also because of the added twist of trying to emulate an "iconic moment" from Strictly's catalogue.

I thought it was brilliant. I was laughing so much I nearly wet myself.

It has been much better this year and I've really enjoyed it. As someone else said, five minutes once a week isn't too much to complain about. Claudia is a gem!

Talking of Brucie, has anyone heard how he is, everyone has had their ailments mentioned, but nothing about the old timer

Good idea to have a serious bit on how to do the dance, but please don't take Claudia and her 'stilts' away from the masterclass. Last night was absolutely hysterical, I genuinely can't remember the last time I laughed so much

I love it!

Despite Claudia's total incompetence I have learned a few dance steps and their "peformances" especially the John Sergeant dance had me cryig with laughter.

Gotta agree with most of the posters here - the masterclass is hysterical, especially the last 2. I was crying with laughter last night.

It's meant to be funny and neither of them take it seriously.

I'd definitely get rid of Stats Man though. He's so annoying. Although I do have a little giggle when he makes himself laugh (the few times I don't fast forward him that is).
