My son has a foxsat hd box not HDR in his room and is getting a no signal on the CBS action channel. He has two feeds coming into his room and so tried the other feed with the same result, also not picking up BBC on one of the feeds.

My Humax hdr is also on this dish and we have no problem with the signal for CBs channels.

My question is do you think that the box could be faulty as it seems a coincidence that both of the feeds are faulty.

Have you tried doing a factory reset

It's the rain! Wait for a clear day and the problem solves itself.

It can't be the weather as I am able to pick up the signal ok, from the same dish.

Have also done a factory reset.

Check the Freesat forum. Some Foxsat HD owners have had a problem on some channels after the recent update and I'd guess this is the same thing. Apparently it's being looked at by Humax.

Download the previous software version 1.00.15, and install it. Pull the plug each night to stop it re-updating to v23, until V23 stops being broadcast OTA, or until Humax provide a new, fixed, version.

Link to the installation instructions. This is for the new firmware, but the instructions are valid. Read carefully, especially renaming the file.
