Its a shame that these are slowly disappearing. These comics gave me so many hours of joy during my childhood...but it unfortunately seems they no longer have a place in contemporary childhood. Judging by how things are developing I wouldn't be surprised if the remaining surviving titles, The Beano and the Dandy were merged or even if they only survived in the form of the traditional annuals that have always made great Christmas presents..and i fear they may also be in decline.
