Love this song

Lots of ace xmas songs from Slade, John and Oko, Elton and the like. Don't make em like that any more;, tho I have to say at least the Darkness gave it a go.

Oh and Bandaid was another proper classic

Mariah is the queen of christmas songs. All I want for Christmas is You and Baby Please Come home are my favourites. She also wrote a song called miss you most at christmas time, which is really sad, but thank god not for me.

Last Christmas = Wham

Fairytale of New York = The Pogues

White Christmas = Bing Crosby

Baby It's Cold Outside = Dean Martin
my gran played this all the time (think she had a thing for him ) anyway I just love it.

2 become 1, however pessimistic it seems lets hope a non x factor single hits the top.

"The Power of Love" by Frankie goes to Hollywood. Although it is more of a winter ballad, it has that real xmasy feel to it too.
I guess Mariah's "All I want.." is the real xmas song though. It is the song that all the clubs play when xmas is approaching. In fact, my local played it tonight and it never fails to get people excited

I remember that. I actually bought it (on vinyl!) and I still like it today!

I'd say Fairytale of New York is the best one. Most of the ones after that were just white noise.
