Rihanna - Rated R: What Do You Think?
Just listened to it in full for the first time and not very impressed. Apart from Russian Roulette and Wait Your Turn, the only ones that really stood out for me were Rude Boy, Te Amo and Cold Case Love. What do you think of it?

I love it! Even better than GGGB, which was an awesome album! Don't dislike one song.

I think it's amazing. Really shocked at what a good follow up it is to GGGB because that album is one of my all time favs
Really dark and edgy. Not everyone's cup of tea but i really like it. Rihanna has some writing credits on this album so it's good that 4 albums later she finally decides to have an imput. |

"The Wait is Ova" is enough to put any one off the album

I think it's really good. Liking 'G4L' a lot. It's not as commercial as her 'GGGB' so I can imagine that some of the fans of that won't enjoy 'Rated R' as much.

I love it! I can understand why some might not like it - a completely different direction when compared to all her previous albums. But I definitely prefer it, by far.

It's alot better than I was expecting. The first 6 songs are amazing, Rude Boy is more mainstream than the rest of the album and Cold Case Love is beautiful. One of the best and most surprising albums of 2009.

The album doesn't seem to be making that much of an impact so far

I didn't like it at first but now I love it. Sure it hasn't got the commercial radio friendly songs that GGGB had but its still a good album. It reminds me a bit of Kelly Clarkson's My December where she took creative control.
Stand out tracks for me are RR, Te Amo, Wait Your Turn, Rockstar 101, Hard and Stupid In Love. |
