"You and I"

Also, his performance at Luther Vandross's funeral singing the gospel song ""I Won't Complain" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dpkGnkvmgI His vocal range in this performance, tone, expression, runs, inflections - love it!

I quite like a bit of Stevie Wonder. My favourites Isn't She Lovely, Sir Duke, Lately. he has certainly influenced a generation of musical acts. While he may not have the chart success he used he is still musical genius who's name is rightly up with Elvis, Beatles, and Michael Jackson.

he was very much similar to fleetwood mac.... first half of the career was inovative, creative, classic, second half was mor , slushy, wet, embarrassingly bad pap.

fav = i was made to love her, uptight
worse = lately, i just called to say i love you

Stevie Wonder is immense. His music has inspired pretty much every artist we see today and his writing is truely amazing. Seriously underrated today.

My favourites:

Superstition
I Was Made To Love Her
Do I Do
Jesus Children of America
They Won't Go When I Go
As
Signed Sealed Delivered
We Can Work it Out
Living for the City

so many more....

Have to agree there. After "Hotter Than July" (which I thought was fantastic) am not keen on Stevie Wonder's music. I never understood why "I Just Called To Say I Love You" was so popular, other than that it's a nice sentiment.

I love his early to mid 80s material

I Just Called to Say I Love You is his worst song imo

My favourite is Living For the City - so poignant

Songs in the Key of Life
Hotter Than July
Talking Book
Innervisions

are classics

I wish VH1 would repeat the classic 1974 'Musikladen' show.
