VRD getting choosy?

Hi

I've been using VideoReDo for ages and have edited *.ts files from 9200 and Foxsat - but it doesn't seem to like recent Foxsat *.ts files - reports them as having No Video Stream or something about MPEG1. They play, unedited, OK on VLC.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Thanks Graham

I'm obviously living in the past! It worked so well that I never bothered to look at updates - I'm still on 2.5.6.512!

While we're on VRD I made some discoveries - you probably know about but...

When saving a VRD trimmed video you can choose "Elementry.." for video and ".../wav" for audio.

This produces a wav file of the audio only (and a seperate *.mpv of the video) and you can use Nero to burn a "normal" audio CD of it. May not solve probelms but it allows me to create CD's of the audio stuff from my Panasonic HDD/DVD recordings of radio programs etc copied to the PC via DVD-RAM *.vro.

Going to try the newer VRD now!

Hello Graham

Well it opens the *.ts file OK - hopefully it will do all the rest.
That's for the info.

vlc player will stream the audio to .wav files anyway

Thanks again

It works - there are a lot of TS changes in the notes!!

I know VLC plays everthing but I really/really wanted a CD to play a song on a cheap player - in a church!

3.10.1.587 is up and flying.

VLC can also convert as well as play. Look at file wizard .
