Fingers, toes and everything else crossed for later on.. In all seriousness though, I'll be happy with a point.

Just hope it's a good game, and that both sets of supporters are well behaved, it spoils it when you hear of trouble both before and after the match.

Just one thing to say really...........

COME ON YOU BAGGIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really, really pleased with the result and the way we played and TBH Wolves played well in the first half.

Now, Villa on Saturday at Villa Park, my local derby and always has been, I come from an area where you were mostly Baggies or Villa fans and grew up with the banter between the fans. Already had my first text from a Villa fan

11th currently as well, not sure how that will change with the rest of today's fixtures, but well done the Baggies, local derbies are always the ones that you want to win.

Yay, we beat Villa at Villa Park for the first time since 1979!!!!!

I have had the biggest smile on my face this weekend. We do need some penalty practice though, that was a really badly taken penalty.

Liverpool and Arsenal next though, so not getting too excited.

Mid table though, and six points from the last 2 matches when I would have been happy with 2

BOING BOING

We had 6 points from these games last year

Yay, we beat Villa at Villa Park for the first time since 1979!!!!!
Only because we haven't played them that often

Yes. We cannot afford to keep missing penalties. .
Liverpool and Arsenal next though, so not getting too excited.
These are not the games where it is vital to win
Mid table though, and six points from the last 2 matches when I would have been happy with 2

BOING BOING
I would have been happy with 4

Well beaten yesterday. We will probably lose next weekend as well.

I am, however, quite hopefull of another 9 points before Christmas.

Seems like an ideal club for Hodgson.

Yes it is. At least here he is appreciated.

Anyhoo, not the best performance yesterday, we just didn't get into the game, but onward and upward to Arsenal next week. A point from that game would be good, Arsenal played really well yesterday.

Still optimistic though.

It's time to post again after a win.

The sort of game that you have to win as well.

I have a feeling that a few less points will be needed to survive this year.

However, lets talk about being 10th instead

Look how much the top 9 have spent and many in the bottom half as well. It's a minor miracle to continue to compete with these clubs. It shows that if you run your club well it is possible to do well without the big money.

It's very tight at the moment.

If we had lost last saturday, instead of being in 10th place, we would have dropped into the bottom 3

Unlike last season we haven't had a result yet against one of the better teams.

Don't see it happening this season TBH, unless we catch one on a bad day ~ still anything can happen in football. Disappointed by Saturday's result, we made a couple of costly slips after taking the lead, the difference I fear between a top 6 side and a mid table side. We have matches coming now, where it is not a situation of having to win ~ yet, but with all due respect to the teams, teams we should, in our second season in the PL be beating.

May I just pay tribute to a Super Fan of ours and a man from my home town. Mr Vic Stirrup passed away at the age of 93 last Friday. He had been a Baggies fan for 87 years and had held a season ticket for the club from 1938 until now. He only missed a few games from that time, mostly during the Second World War until his last game on October 16th when he saw us beat Wolves. He once cycled from our home town to Stoke to watch the Baggies play ~ and we lost 10 ~ 1! A thorough gentleman and one I can be privileged to say I knew. He was also a great fan of ice hockey and until recently traveled to Coventry to watch ice hockey there. He also contributed to a book that Adrian Chiles wrote a few years back which is a really good read for any football fan, not just Baggie fans. Pity we couldn't have won on Saturday for him.

RIP and Boing Boing Mr Stirrup.

RIP indeed.

I have heard of him but I didn't know him. During his lifetime, we won the leage and the FA cup 3 times.
