None at the moment. I am still seething about losing points last week but the win today was most welcome.

3 games left before the half way point and I can only see us getting any points from the Everton game.

Newastle have gone off form a bit now they have got a few injuries. A possibility of a draw there?

Be afraid Man City. Be very afraid.

Two good wins for The Baggies and it makes the defeat against Wigan even more annoying.

We have won 6 games, but only 2 at home. Must do better at home in 2012.

Oh how I wish we could get something from the Man City game, but in all honesty (and I am the most optimistic Baggie fan around, I can't see it happening.

The result (and match) at Newcastle was fantastic (I was there), we were certainly in good voice, though both times we went ahead before Newcastle scored, we were very guilty of sloppy play, but well done the players.

My husband has said the self same thing as you Sulla about the Wigan game, with the last two results, it makes it even more maddening, but we go into Christmas in the top half of the table, so not all bad.

Anyway, Merry Christmas to all Baggie fans (Santa please note, a point on Boxing Day would be great, but three even better.....!) and BOING BOING into 2012

A stupid Man City fan on the radio tonight was asking why Albion fans were celebrating wildly after a 0-0. I really can't think! 300 million v 12 million?

....mancini belly aching about man city's inability to play against a home team that put ten men behind the ball when city attacked, raised a chuckle

is this guy for real ?

...vincent kompany gave the baggies defence credit for a great performance....mancini needs to take his head out of his arse and do the same

Probably the worst performance for a while but Everton make it very difficult. Nearly getting a point playing like that could be a good sign.

Our problem seems to be that we're playing at home as we play away, trying to soak up pressure and hit teams on the counter. But that doesn't work at home where the away teams don't overcommit enough for that to be effective. 7 home goals in 10 games is a shocking record. Our next three home (league) games are Norwich, Swansea and Sunderland, and we should be looking at getting a couple of wins from those.

I don't want it to seem like I'm being overly negative, we're comfortably midtable at the moment which is great, I just feel that if we can get our home tactics right, we can push on to a top half finish

It's only the away wins that are keeping us up there and if they fall away without an improvement at home, it's all over.

Looking on the bright side, Wigan have got 15 points at the half way stage so are only on course to get 30. Therefore WBA only need another 9 points to stop up!!!
On the down side, the bottom 3 are likely to spend quite a bit in January and WBA probably wont, meaning the 2nd half of the season could be very different.

Difficult to get top players to join you if you are in the bottom 3

...good sign my arse...we need to be beating teams like wigan and everton, especially at home...the baggies, and that nobber odemwingie, were shite...we tried to play against everton the way we played against man city ( fook knows why ) and it came back to bite us on the arse...everton have scored more goals in the last ten minutes of games than any other premiership side, and albion's defensive naivety, without olsson and mulumbu, was what cost them a point

Wasn't expecting anything so wasn't too disappointed.

Still sick about Everton game.

We must be serious about the cup and start scoring again.

Fairly disappointed by last night's result as I did have hopes we could nick the game after going in at HT 0 ~ 0, but it was not to be. Nice comments from 'Arry on SSN though.

Now, I'm even more fed up about the Wigan and Everton results!

BTW, a belated Happy New Year to all Baggies here and lets hope for a few goals on Saturday, a little cup run would be good, but more importantly, let's avoid the dreaded "Second Season Syndrome" and stay up.

Coming from a Spurs fan, whilst I wasn't fond of the way you played, there will be places you go and teams you play where playing like that will get you a draw, or even nick a win. So don't be too down about it. You just came up against a team in great form, who could break you down.

...if you don't win your home games, and especially those against the teams around you, you're asking to get shafted...and our home form is abysmal...the home results against wigan, stoke and everton, were all winnable,or potential draws, and could, very likely, come back to bite us on the arse

To be fair, I've not watched much of you. Really only the two games we played against you.

Just looking at your results, and considering your first two games were United and Chelsea, you've done well. You need to compare to the teams around you, and you are only one or two points off teams who have been PL regulars recently - Villa, Everton, Fulham, Sunderland etc. you're only three points off ninth! Win your next game, and considering the other fixtures that weekend too, you have a great chance of moving right up the table.

...it pays to look at the bigger picture...where we are now is immaterial...our next four games are cardiff in the cup...which we can afford to lose...norwich at home, who have scored in all but three games this season, ironically, one of which, was against us at carrow road, but we had olsson and mulumbu...and are on fire... stoke,away...who are our bogey team, and we couldn't beat if we had barcelonas squad..and fulham away...who's home record against teams at the lower end of the premier,is not shabby...we haven't scored for three games on the bounce...sacrificing attack for ultra defence and hoping to catch the other team on the counter is ok if when you go a goal down you have a plan b...i don't believe that woy does tbh
