I notice your club made a profit over the financial year..probably feel there is no excuse not to spend a bit in the transfer window to keep you guys up..

Why can't we win at home occasionally?

No reason why we should have lost that game

...dreadful...no confidence in their own ability...and that useless canut odemwingie missing from two yards just put the tin lid on another inept home performance...wolves next and they're coming in to form...it's gonna go right to the wire

The villa result is the icing on the cake, being old school I look to beat those more than I do the Wolves.

(I always struggle not to type the Wilfs, I never even knew a Wilf)

Central News slipped up earlier, although the Newsreader spoke the correct score, the caption showed they had beat us 5-0

I guess that the closer you live to Birmingham, the more you would regard the Villa as the main rivals.

In Rowley it was 50% Baggies, 40% Wolves and 10% Villa.
Nobody appeared to supported the Blues or anyone outside the West Midlands.

A home win! and a big one as well.

Our goal difference is now just minus 2

We might have enough points already but lets look up not down.

We might get Nil points from the next two games but we'll be OK

Don't know why you're surprised. Sunderland have been flying under Martin O'Neil, and West Brom have been struggling at home so of course West Brom were going to win 4-0?!

Same here, Villa are the local team I always want us to beat, but have to say that I was really happy with the Wolves result.

That's true. I was born and brought up in Smethwick and Villa were our closest team geographically after the Baggies, so it was basically 50/50 you were a Baggies fan or a Villa fan. I have a lot of mates from that time who are Villa fans and we share great banter, I got some brilliant text messages from them after we beat them Villa is always the first match I look for when the fixtures list are published (and we are in the PL!) I didn't know anyone as a kid who supported the Blues back then, it was always either us or Villa.

Could the Baggies cost another manager his job?

Possible.
Fantastic win today and it wasnt a fluke, we outplayed them in spells today and played well all through the match.

You shouldn't be boasting about beating Chelsea these days. It's like being proud of booting a sick badger. If anything this thread should be full of remorse.

roy has gotten you playing the right way, played as the better team for most of the game.

A bit graft & bit of skill will get you going places,it's the way the game should be played.
