Delighted about the result, well done to everyone, 10th in the PL, and a definite third season of PL football, not bad for a Championship side as we were called on a certain other thread, at least Chelsea and Man Utd threads had the class to praise us, I'm really annoyed what I have read elsewhere. Hopefully we can get points in our last three games now and have a top 10 finish. |

I live almost in the shadow of The Hawthorns. I get to see my road turned into a car park on match days and its manic but I love it. Just dont block my drive lol. I support Liverpool. So well done today.
As I live quite close I do like to follow The Baggies as an unofficial 2nd team so I am so happy you have crucified Villa in the league. |

I don't think any sane WBA fan could call it 'deserved' but to pick up the points at Anfield is always difficult and you have to do it any way you can.
. I'd like to say well done on the victory too but I'll miss out the "deserved" bit. You took one of your few chances while we missed all 28 of ours Story of our season.

Some credit has to go to the defence but there was a fair bit of luck involved. How many times have Liverpool hit the woodwork this season? Could you try shifting the goal across a little bit

Well done the Baggies, my brother supports LFC, so it was a particularly lovely result for me today and securing survival at Anfield was the icing on the cake !

Thanks to all the Liverpool fans who have put comments here, I do wish you the best of luck for the rest of the season and in the cup. The woodwork was certainly on our side today!

I think that Roy's summary of the game was a very fair reflection and I will leave it at that.
![]() Still disappointed. We should be beating the likes of Villa at home

I went to a funeral this morning. One of my closest and dearest friends. He was a lifelong Wolves supporter and a lovely man. I shall miss him. The cortege went past the Molineux and Billy Wright. Proper order so far.
The first hymn was,

Funny you should say that SULLA, I went to see the Olympic torch come through Oldbury a couple of Saturdays ago, and there was a service at the War Memorial by Sava, and the hymn that was chosen was the one you mention, cue a lot of sheepish faces in the crowd trying to remember the correct words! Including mine I have to say
Very sorry to read of the death of your mate.

Very happy with the performance today. I don't think we'll pick up as many away points this season so our home form is going to need to be a lot better, so this was a great start.
A little bit of luck here and there, on another day at least one of the penalties might not be given and Suarez should have scored at least a couple. Great goal from Gera, hopefully he can stay fit. Yacob looks pretty class in that defensive midfield role with Mulumbu, and Lukaku looks like he's going to be a handful Early days but reasons to be optimistic.I've been pretty annoyed at the season previews in the papers and such, most of them saying that we've had a good couple of seasons, but it's all going to fall apart now Hodgson has gone and Clarke has come in, pointing at Brian Kidd and Sammy Lee as their precedents. Obviously they have no idea about the club and how we're run and it just smacks of laziness. |

Fantastic result for you. You have a great bloke there with Clarkey and you make sure you give Lukaku back, ok?

Am not too omptimistic about going to Tottenham but I note that Everton usually have a poor start to the season.

A great point at Spurs. Am no longer confident against Everton or the following game at Fulham but we shall see
