Anything more than 2 points from the next 3 games will be a bonus
Oh I don't know. We beat Chelsea at home last season, and we have a pretty decent record at Sunderland considering. I don't go to many away games, but last season I went to Swansea which was a bit of a shambles, but we could get something there this season. I reckon 5 points. I'd like it if Foster were back, but Myhil played well enough today.

Good performance today. Surprised we changed our way of playing to have two up top, but worked quite well. Good to see that we're working on a plan B, I'd been concerned that managers might work out how to play us and results would start to tail off as the season went on. Great cross for the first goal, some of our final balls into the box this season have been outstanding.

I assume we'll go back to one upfront next week since Lukaku can't play.

Don't mention that to AVB.

I also forgot that De Matteo hasn't got a good pedegree for winning premier league games at The Hawthorns

Anyway, my glass is half empty. Can I have it filled up please

My glass is now half full.

Two away games now and I would expect to pick up some points

I'm more concerned about the 13 points we have dropped. We didn't even beat the Villa

Still can't quite believe this start to the season! I'm not convinced it will last, but I'll certainly enjoy it while it does.

With our counter-attacking style, I think we may struggle in games in which we concede the first goal, but we've only conceded the first goal in three games so far this season so we haven't really needed to worry about it too much yet.

I think the most pleasing thing is that in recent games we've had Foster, McAuley, Reid, Mulumbu, Brunt, Lukaku, Morrison all missing for various games but still managed to pick up results.

It's pleasant to be able to go into any game with a chance.

I am in total agreement with the manager. Let's keep our feet on the ground.

The amazing start WBA have made has virtually assured their safety altogether. Even if they have a slump after Christmas, there's no danger of relegation since they have nearly enough points on the board already.

I had a bad feeling about tonight's game as we were well beaten at Swansea last year.

Still, you can't win them all

Hoping for 3 points on Saturday

I am getting the impression that some of our players are getting paid to much

I am getting the impression you should have been enjoying your season nuch more than from reading here you seem to have been

You'll have WBA in a "slump" in a week or two

Congratulations on the bye into the fourth round that is a cup game against QPR.
Not only is our League form pants, but our recent cup history is rubbish as well.

Need points from the next 3 games and plenty of them.

Am still far more disappointed with the Stoke game. We were outplayed yesterday regardless of the dodgy decisions.

Disappointed not to win but one point is better than no points

Not been here for a while but over the moon with the season so far and getting the 3 points yesterday when we conceded the first goal was even better.

Merry Christmas to all Baggie fans on this thread, and lets hope for a good 2013.

Thanks SULLA, have a good one!

Yes, I've received a few texts from Villa supporting friends who are not happy at today's result and am busily trying to convert them to the good old navy blue and white!
