Thanks SULLA, have a good one!

Yes, I've received a few texts from Villa supporting friends who are not happy at today's result and am busily trying to convert them to the good old navy blue and white!
Tell them they will not have far to travel if they still want to see Premier League footy

Didn't expect to win and we didn't

In the next 3 games we should be looking for enough points to secure our place in this division.

It honestly shows how far we have come that I am slightly depressed that we didn't take anything from today's match! (that and having my right wrist in plaster after falling over my puppy!).

What a year 2012 has been! I just hope 2013 will be as good and we get the remaining points to get us to the magic 40 as soon as possible.

So Happy New Year all Baggies fans here and lets go onwards and upwards, and remember we support a very special club.xx

Just read his obituary in the Times. I remember him well .A remarkable 173 goals in 291 games for the Baggies . RIP Derek

Lukaku had a brilliant game but WBA thought they had won it at 80 minutes. The Reading comeback was pretty amazing though. Never say die.

Yup, that period of relegation fodder form had me worried for a moment there

Safety looks assured though at long last and with a steadied ship you may even go on a good run

Hope so. I have been reading the Liverpool thread. Before the game they were still dreaming of top 4 and we were fearing the bottom 3 even though our points tally was very similar.

Took us another 8 games to get the 7 points needed for safety

But we're there.

I am hopeful of 50 points and a top half finish again

Chelsea was not a game which I expected we would win and I was right.

Swansea at home next and it's time that we beat them !!!!!

and we did

I can see why the linesman flagged for offside. It would have been difficult for him to see who touched it last.

Crap penalty by The Chelsea Bloke....Get rid

A hard match, but at least we ground it out and got a point taking us closer to Steve Clarke's magic 50. It feels really strange but nice to be in March and not looking at the table in panic, I still find myself wondering where we are when I see the bottom half of the table! Mad I know.

Also congratulations to Ben Foster for his England call up earlier in the week, he surely must be in strong contention to start next week.

I'm just so happy being a Baggies supporter at the moment
