Am tending to take it for granted

Big game tommorrow for....The Wolves.

Glad really. I really like WBA and Hodgson has done an outstanding job so far if you ask me, but I also want Wolves to survive, so didn't mind them picking up the points as WBA are safe.

What a fantastic season Odemwingie has had though. Really hoping you guys can add to your squad next season, because with Hodgson in charge, you've certainly got a good chance of aiming even higher next season if you can make the right additions to the team.

That has to be some of the worst defending I have ever seen in any league. Don't know what happened to you lot.

Well we have had a genuine mid table finish

But we let the Villa sneak in front of us

So Man Utd at the Hawthorns opening match followed by Chelsea, geez, the fixture compilers do not like to make it easy for us.

Shay Given being linked with the club, as I admit I am not a great fan of Carson, I would be quite happy with that signing.

I don't believe that the fixtures are random any more - it happens every time. Confidence can go very quickly if you get off to a bad start which is likely with these fixtures.

It looks like Scott Carson might be leaving. I was pleased when he was signed but he has been a disappointment. To stop leaking goals we need a keeper that the defenders will have faith in (plus better defenders)

...carson was shite anyways...his lapses of concentration could be tolerated in the championship...but when you're playing with the big boys, you're gonna get punished

without carson's gaffes, this season, the baggies could have finished even higher...the guy was a liability

I'm not sure it was all down to the goalkeeper - some of the defenders aren't good enough. Even Roy couldn't really sort it out. Still only one clean sheet after he took over.

Any transfer rumours?

I doubt if it be worse than last year. It affected the goal difference figures all season.

I am quietly omptimistic about the whole of the season

He is certainly on the radar - but think a number of players are in the mix for the gk position.

If any of you are interested, the friendly game against Olympiakos this Thursday (7.45pm) will be televised (although with Greek commentary).
If you want (and the forum allows it), I can provide the links to the game.

I am optimistic.

We are starting the season with a better squad than we had at the end of last season.

We have given United a 3 point start

One effort on goal and 2 goals scored. How does that work
