Alesha Needs To Get A Grip
I like Alesha but some of her scores tonight were a dissgrace to give Nat an 8 was beyond a joke.

This will be it for her imo. I don't think they will ask her back next year, because she was supposed to gain viewers, not the other way round. I am not surprised about her scoring because only someone who is has worked in the ballroom industry or dance for many years would know how to mark properly. (Len is an exception) She is neither/

Her biggest problem seems to be (for me at least) that she lets her feelings about a celebrity or the couple effect her scores/comments too much. The judges have all had this problem at times but thus far, it's too often for her.
Which is a shame because I feel the majority of her comments to be ok. |

Alesha needs to shut up, she has no idea what she is on about and she overmarks everybody, why give a 10 for Ricky?

She is scoring as she feels, just like the others are.
Personally, yes, even though I love her to bits and will fight to the death to stick up for her because of all the unwarranted hatred generated against her on these forums, I thought she overscored Natalie and Ricky W, but I'm not going to give myself a stroke over it for goodness sake. Tch! If you read this 'orrible forum Alesha, you're my favourite and I love you.

I have tried to give her the benefit of several doubts but I just cannot take her seriously. I just want to stick my fingers in my ears every time she opens her mouth.
Strictly needs a major shake up next year. Less is more - pare it down to 3 judges: Len, Craig and Karen Hardy. Pension off Bruce and Tess (firmly but kindly) and replace with Michael Ball as twinkly but professional host (Brucie is struggling and I actually feel for him every time he stumbles and mumbles and forgets the joke/timing - please BBC - let him go with dignity). Put Claudia in the tesspit and give her Monday night off from ITT - Monday's ITT could be hosted by a guest presenter each week - celeb SCD fans or ex pros or ex contestants would be a good starting point. |

No because she's not a professional, I still think Bruno tells her what to say.

Agree with both these comments.

"Okay Alesha, you be good cop, I will be bad cop. You give Natalie big score because she's popular yes? Then you look like good guy. I give Natalie rubbish score and I look like interesting bad guy. Neither score makes sense but, hey, it's only the British public no?" I suppose it's possible... |

She said.
In an interview she was like ''its all about Ricky W, for me''. That says it all |

I agree Alesha totally lets her personal feelings get in the way of being a judge - as was very evident in her Blackpool behaviour. We all know the judges always have their favourites each year and to be fair in that way Alesha is no different - but to be so openly blatant and biased is making for unpleasant viewing. Ricky can do absolutely NO wrong in her eyes and it just remains to see who is her next "target" methinks anyone who poses a threat to "her" Ricky had better watch out

I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but both Ricky's 10 and giving Natalie a higher score than both Chris and Laila looked like favouritism. It wasn't a good night for her.

It must be difficult for her giving Ricky W 10 when it looks like she probably wants to give him 1

To mark Natalie above Chris was ridiculous of her I thought.

Think the fact she marked Natalie C higher than obviously superior dancers and dances seemingly entirely because "you look like you was loving it!" says it all about Alesha as a judge.
