Is it possible the price of the Humax will fall as we get nearer to Christmas? I want to buy the one on offer at Argos but have been told to wait until the end of the year.

I suspect the £250.00 price will stay much the same till the new model comes out some time next year...

If this is your first PVR then welcome to a new world - I wouldn't be without one now ... and especially at Christmas when many of the channels spend large amounts of their film budget.

I have been tempted to jump ship from SkyHD, but I'd miss C4HD and wonder how long it will be until Humax or someone else brings out a next gen of PVR for Freesat+

Not sure what the the next generation of PVR + got to do with CH4 HD.

what I mean is, Im hoping that early next year we will have a new pvr that is faster and maybe offers new things and that C4HD moves sat so that it can become FTA.

Just a quick update. Very happy with my Humax apart from the layout of the remote. Must have been designed by a committee.
