Jade & Ian were the most exiting couple on SCD. They always gave a great performance & never made a big deal out of it. Talented couple with no hype.

I really couldn't give a flying funk who wins now.

Bye bye Jade, you'll be missed

Its a shame really as she was a contender...

Len was right - its basically a 2 horse race in dancing terms now between Ricky and Ali

The other three have personality but are hit and miss... Jade was the inbetween and could've done a 'J' and possibly snaffled the title...

Its a shame really - and a two person final

I don't care who wins now. I am having a bad TV week what with Jade going, I'm a Celeb just being awful and The Restaurant turning into Carry On Kitchen.

if jj and james don't go out soon I'm going to explode! poor Barney and Badge

I think its a real shame that anyone has to go out with injury but tbh i won't really miss her. She just never really registered for me, i can't remember one of her dances or her VTs. The only thing that sticks in my mind is her make up and earrings.

I couldn't see much chemistry between him and Jade and always suspected it was a bit fraught especially compared with Ians relationship with Jodie last year.

I wish her a speedy recovery though and hope theres no long term consequences for her career. I also hope Ian has better luck next year as hes one of the professionals i'd love to see win.

It means I can dedicate more of my head-space to supporting Ali and Brian, whom I always thoght were immense dancers... it was just for me that Jade and Ian had the edge (albeit a cigarette-paper thick one) on interpretation and the greater ability to absorb the dance and make it their own.

Another brightside is that Team COla can expect a could of votes from me (barring complete disasters) too.

Poor Jade, I was looking forward to seeing her win this year, now she's gone I think Ali will probably win now but I do agree that without Jade the show has lost it.

Great shame that Jade had to pull out as she was the only contender to challenge the Ali, Ricky dominance of this years SCD and as a result tonight's competition was a bit flat.

I suppose it depends now out of the other couples who is more popular with the viewers.
Looks like its backfired. they had enough good dancers for a three way final with a real competition and a credible winner from the top 3 winning it.

They may have got around last years other problems by making the judging more positive and not casting people who would get the anti-judge vote so much. They also seem to me to have cast wetter less macho males who shouldn't have attracted the female vote and who couldn't produce a journey story going anywhere. Phil was a risk but he didn't have the ability of Mark or Darren and Joe was another but he had no ability at all.

Its all fallen over with jade's injury and Zoe going. They now have support for their last meeker male even if he can't dance much, its a two horse race, they have to get their top 2 to the final or have a mismatch and people are moaning that they don't have anyone who entertains them or progressed much because the hopelessly funny cases have gone and the macho celebs and the ones who might have had journeys were not put in.

I am sad that Jade has had to pull out. She was one of the most graceful out of the female celebrity dancers. Hope she recovers well enough to dance again at the finals show.

SCD has completely lost it's sparkle for me.

Jade brought everything I look for to the table; she didn't immediately wow the audience, but it was clear from the start that the characteristics we associate with a top athlete were there in spades; steel, determination and the quest for perfection.

I really don't care who wins now.
This is how i feel too.

Still gutted. She improved week on week and still had a lot more to give. I believe she could have won. So upset for Ian who is my fave professional.

I kept looking for Jade, sat on the sidelines watching and I couldn't help feeling sad. Such a damn shame that fate has dealt a real blow to Jade and Ian, who I thought were cruising along at the perfect pace to see them make the final. They were the most improved, most consistent, the most striking to look at and the most able at both ballroom and latin. They were fantastic together and the show has lost some it's sunshine for me now. Roll on Christmas and their Tango, which will be my highlight of the final

I agree we've lost our last candidate who had both talent and personality in fact the only one really this year so very sad . Roger Black was the telly saying we're never going to get another sportsperson whose career isn't already over after this too which isn't going to help SCD either.

The whole thing was handled very badly. A decision should have been made mid-week rather than announcing it at the beginning of tonight's show.
Nearly 9 million (average) tuned in to SCD yesterday, which is only a small drop on last week. If they hadn't kept the non-forum readers guessing about Jade, and that's the vast majority of viewers, it would have been a lot less.
So badly handled it was not. They turned a foregone conclusion (i.e. withdrawal) into a "will she, won't she?" saga.

Next week's audience could be significantly smaller unless some controversy "happens to" come along.

What are they still doing there?!

They should have been booted off in week one.

Their picnic idea is a load of nonsense and they're not even involved in cooking the food they serve. And they are so smug and shifty.

I'm so frustrated with the Raymond for hanging onto them!!

Had to get that off my chest.

Gutted to lose the army boys - Badger was hot!

I loved B&B. They were my favourites. So with them and Jade going this week I am losing my TV mojo

If you really think it was the right result and if you really think she should have gone last week - your regrets lack sincerity.

You've started more than one thread agitating for Jade to be eliminated, so your faux sympathy now reeks of hypocrisy.

Once you were amusing, even endearing; now you're nothing more than an irritation.
I am sorry she got injured and I don't like the fact she has been put out by an injury

But once she couldn't dance one week then for me that should have meant she was out especially as Laila did dance that week.

Not Jades fault by the way just merely feel the rules are wrong

Now can you see the difference?

i never liked or disliked her, If found her to be a bit meh personality wise but i thought she was progressing well as the weeks went on but she never had that pizzaz and i wonder how many people out side of athletitcs fans had even heard of her before she went on there.

She was right to pull out though, her livilihood must come first.

No - and you are digging yourself rather a large hole ...

Jade's injury was sgnificantly worse than Laila's - and you know that full well. It was stated very clearly.

You will like the rules a whole lot less now that your favourite Team Cola will, barring a miracle, not make the final. The judges will see to that ...

Jade is the one contestant who could have shaken up SCD7. Now she has gone, the outcome is extremely predictable. Rather than being glad to see the back of her, you should be mourning her departure: now she's gone, it'll be a two-person final, with the public's choice of contestants over-ruled by the judges.

Team Cola is a different issue.I objected to her continuing after a bye on grounds of morality

Team Cola is not a different issue at all.

In a three-person final, the public can save the lowest-scoring couple on the leader board, so their favourite makes the final two.

However, in a two-person final, both couples will be selected the previous week with a dance-off. If Team Cola was, for instance, the lowest-scoring couple with the judges, but highest scoring couple with the public, they could (and most likely would) end up in the dance-off: bye bye Team Cola.

Jade was the contestant that could have prevented this from happening. (Whether she herself would have made the final is another matter altogether).

And I have no idea what your last sentence means! 'Morality'? Er- hello?!

I usually hate those 'not bothered now that couple X/Y/Z has gone' threads, but I'm starting to see how people can get themselves so worked up. Jade and Ian were a great blend of fun, style and class; I don't think any of the remaining pairs have more than two of those three attributes each.

And while I'm a big Team Cola fan, if Bhoy's supporting them, I'll be delighted if they don't make the final
