What is that all about.

I like Natalie don't get me wrong, but tonight she was lumpy, stiff and stodgy. No way did she deserve just one mark less than Ali.

Alesha seems unable to keep her personal bias out of her marking.

And is it just me but in my opinion Ricky and Natalie hardly danced any steps whatsoever - most of the dance was taken up with preperation for the big lift (which was out of place) and the lift itself. Dull.

1 more mark than Chris is more disgusting!

Aleshas scores and comments were all over the place tonight and i do have to agree, she cant keep her bias-ness (is that even a word?) under control

It is quite clear from tonights explosion at Chris and Ola that she is gunning for them and has Ricky on a pedestal (even with his D-U-LL American Smooth)

Len marked 8 for Ricky G's rhumba and 8 for Ricky W's AS....That is disgraceful!!!!

Hi CC

Aleshas marking was all over the place tonight. I had to watch Natalie through splayed fingers and cringed throughout - there wasn't even any enthusiasm on show. She should have been out imo.

I really liked Rickys dance until that last part. Awful lift that jarred with the dance and too long up in hold meaning he didn't dance very much. I was very disappointed as it was one of the dances i was really looking forward to. I don't know what Natalie was thinking tbh. Appealing to the audience is one thing but it smacked of showing off to me and Ricky deserves better than that.

Hi.

Natalie has this edge to her that just grates on me. Has she appeared in the American version? If so that might explain her seeming "need" to be showy. I don't enjoy Ricky W dancing at all - apart from his jive and his tango - I have found myself disengaging with the screen. Maybe she thought if she did the lift and created some "show" and potential controversy we would support her over the judges. Obviously it worked given they got through.

Guys - it is easy to annoy Dixon - throw a few votes to Chris and Ola just to make sure they keep topping the public vote.

Believe me this will backfire on the judges next week if she carries on with her bad attitude towards Chris

Alesha's scoring is just getting worse. 1 more mark to Natalie than Chris? She clearly is biased towards Ricky and can see no wrong in his routine. It's her attitude that is really starting to irritate me. Seems totally self-satisfied and has a much higher opinion of her own dance knowledge than is warranted. I thought her criticising Ola's choreography was just laughable.

I prefer to vote for my favourite as opposed to just to annoy the judges - as its the BB that has the last laugh anyway given they cash in. Chris isn't my favourite so I won't be voting for him.

She was in the Australian version which i've never watched so i don't know whats normal for them. I've enjoyed most of Rickys dances apart from the jive which i thought was uncomfortable but tbh the quickstep is the only one i can really remember well.

The lift tonight was just awful. The dreamy romantic music and dance that turned into a wrestling move

Agree about the lift. It wasn't graceful at all - it was like he was competing in the world's strongest man or something. It was just about showing him off as opposed to his dancing. As you say (even though I don't like his dancing) he is better than that. That is the sort of thing Ola had to resort to with Kenny cos he couldn't do anything else.

I agree, that was incredible. I would really like to hear her explanation for that mark. I thought Natalie merited a 6 at most.

blooming heck, you lot take it a bit serious , don't you ?
Nobody ever seems to agree with any of the judges marks, someone is always moaning about ti. At the end of the day it's only a tv show, why does everyone get so uptight ?

Overall it doesn't matter about the judges individual scores, Natalie was second from bottom, does it matter that Alesha over marked her?

The contestants put too much blood, sweat & tears into it for a judge to mark on anything other than merit. If Alesha is not being deliberately biased, we can only conclude that she's unable to recognise different levels of performance.

Second week she's overmarked Natalie but Len can be as bad. Leave Craig to vote by himself at least he's honest.
Aleysha hasn't earned herself any kudos in my house, in fact I don't know anyone who thinks she is doing a good job.

No, it doesn't matter in the great scheme of things..but we are British, we have this in-built sense of fair play. We need to see our own judgement confirmed by the "experts".

We have to remember that she's not very bright, hasn't got a very good grasp of basic english grammar, so probably can't count up to 10.
Alesha obviously likes Natalie (same sort of grammar level) and is intimidated by people like Ali and Chris who can string a sentence together!

Really?
Not a fan but I always got the impression she fell into the 'bright but likes to dumb it down' catergory.

I've now got to the stage where I am just ignoring Alesha's scores and comments. I hope that the BBC replace her for next year.

However I did think that Len's scoring was disgraceful.

Again, it's all focussed on Alesha's scoring. Len is just as bad for overmarking, if not worse.

I think Alesha gives her marks mainly on how much she enjoyed the performances, and to be honest when she hasn't got a big dance background I think that's fair enough. She's not there to mark like Arlene or Craig.

That is incredibly rude but I don't care, you just made me almost pee my pants laughing!
