Alesha Dixon clearly has a problem with Chris. Her face said it all - she looked away after giving him a low mark. And Chris' comment "She says no way" directed at Aleisha after Tess had said he was counting on Aleisha's mark - they obviously have a problem with each other.

She is clearly voting for her personal favourites (is Ali one of her friends?) instead of how they perform.

If Chris put in a fantastic performance (I think he was very good last night he should only lose 1 mark for the silly facial expressions) she'd still vote him low because she just doesn't like him.

I thought I'd give her a fair go but I now dislike her very much. She gave Ricky (was it him) a 10. She loves Ricky and Ali because i guess she already is in their social circle.

Don't get me wrong Ricky and Ali deserve to be in the final. But so does Chris and she can't stand him so is trying to get rid of him.

Natalie should be in the bottom 2 tonight. She's getting through because of her popularity in EE but we see that every year with Strictly - someone just flying through on the seat of their pants. I've always found her dancing flat footed and dumpy. Not saying big girls can't dance because they can - but she can't.

Poor Vincent does his best - I'd like to keep him in! Sadly his partner is not up to the standard.

She should go but Aleisha will keep her in - unless she's up against someone like Ricky and Ali which is very unlikely.

It would be fantastic if Chris won - just to see Alesha's face. Her behaviour is getting worse. She clearly is struggling to separate personal and professional issues. And this must be brought up with her by Claudia ideally

I think we know who's sisde the public will take between Alesha and Chris

I agree. Alesha's marking last night was very strange, she should at least be asked to explain her position. I know it's subjective, we all have our own opinions etc..but do any of the experts here actually agree with her marking of Natalie and Chris ? Before anyone accuses me of bias..I'm no fan of Chris..I'm just interested in how more knowledgable people view the various routines.

i'm no particular fan of Alesha, but up until last night she has been pretty positive to Chris, she gave him 9s for his foxtrot and paso doble! she did seem rather surly last night though.

as for Chris last night, i thought his score was about right, the VW was a little disappointing (and I'm a mad Team Cola fan!). Bless him, he was clearly so paranoid about being slagged off about his mouth being open, he clamped it shut!!

As for Natalie, she did mark her too high, but at least Bruno and Craig marked low so it balanced out to about right.

I'm a Cola fan too and I agree that his score was about right. The ridiculous part is scoring Natalie's terrible samba an 8. Len marked too high also, giving her a 7 - 5 and 6 was about right.

Why do all the Chris fans suddenly hate Alesha?
She gave him a 9 for that AWFUL Paso Doble last week, so shut up.

I don't really have a problem with Alesha's marking as the judges marks are always balanced out in the end but I did notice she seemed to have a face like a slapped ass when giving him his mark. I wonder if they've had a run in.

Alesha... did seem rather surly last night though.

as for Chris last night

Surly is a good word ,I called her a moody cow , but surly would about cover it too .
She look like she was chewing a wasp most of the night ,.

We have to remember that she's not very bright, hasn't got a very good grasp of basic english grammar, so probably can't count up to 10.
Alesha obviously likes Natalie (same sort of grammar level) and is intimidated by people like Ali and Chris who can string a sentence together!
if you are so bright how come you dont realise that grammar has nothing to do with being able to count to 10.......

Alesha's marking was the worst it has been all series last night, but if it was because of showing bias it was favouring Natalie rather than being against Chris. As has been mentioned, she wouldn't have given Chris a 9 last week if she hated him.

I don't think that Alesha has it in for Chris especially. I think the judges needed to have two tied scores last night to give Natalie C's voters a better chance of keeping her out of the dance-off. Alesha was appointed hatchet-woman to keep his score down to Laila levels. As usual, she went OTT in "justifying" her score.

I further don't think the judges do this kind of thing out of their choice, but because the producers want to keep certain people in to retain the interest among the mass audience.

Good post. That's how I see it as well.

It could be such a great show if "they" would be content with a couple of million. Put it on BBC4, that'll eliminate the trash-magnetic elements

Alesha was overly generous with her 8, but Bruno was overly harsh with his 5.

It balanced itself out overall and Natalie was in the right place on the table which is ultimately what matters most.

I think Alesha had PMT last night she was so up and down in her remarks, She seems to want to be different to the other judges all attention seeking I think but last night she was particularly bad.

I also think that she has been promoted to head judge as normally Len starts the judging for the first couple but last night it was Alesha and when the judges were asked at the end who had impressed them etc again we started with Alesha.

I don't mind the handbag fights between Len, Craig and Bruno, but could the BBC please make sure that they have judges who know the difference between a dance which deserves 10 and one that doesn't.

For the mentally challenged, that means getting rid of Alisha.

Perhaps she can't deal with being up past her bedtime to do CIN!!

I think this is actually a good point - in which case it would explain her face - perhaps she didn't feel comfortable saying what she said to Chris - or am I just trying to be nice!

I think she does. Her new album/single is very average indeed, showing that she isn't a terribly good singer and needs material like "He doesn't brush up" (sorry, I don't know the proper title but I did like it) to make the public buy her stuff in any quantity.

With the exception of Ricky W, i think its hard to tell who Aleshas favourites are.
I do have a feeling pro wise shes quite close to James and Ola Jordan though purely from some of the comments shes said about them in interviews (and shes was backing Cherie last year and Zoe this year both partners of JAmes).
She does over mark Natalie slightly but i dont think she was nasty to Chris at all (and im supporting team cola!)

I gather she was pretty awful on Children in Need. Maybe she had had a bollocking.
