Two years is perfect timing between albums

Wow, now I'm excited. I thought she would take time out to start a family but obviously not. She's probably my favourite artist of the decade. This could also mean a Destiny's Child album though!

To be honest i wasn't expecting one for another two years. But her sasha era has been phenom so she has left me wanting more.

Her albums just get better and better. Sasha Fierce is definately one of my favourites of 2008 She does some fantastic dance tunes yet at the same time her ballads are something else. Seeing her sing the likes of Halo and Smash Into You live was just fantastic.

I'm pretty sure she said a few years back that she wanted to do some collaborations with the Freemasons. I wasn't dreaming that, was i???

She defo has her pacing right. Two years between all her albums is exactly how it should be done. Its a shame Christina cannot follow this trend!

I don't see the problem with Christina. She usually takes 3 years. So does Alicia Keys usually.

Unlike people like Rihanna or Britney who have to release an album every year.

Can't wait for this. Really excited to see what style of music she'll do this time round whether it be pop/dance/R&B etc. Wonder if 'Sasha Fierce' will be appearing lol?

Christina would have ruled the music world after the 15 million selling Stripped but wasted all her chances by switching styles too quick and taking too long. This is why Back To Basic's bombed in comparison.

Can't wait for this then. Sasha Fierce has produced five stunning UK singles (and four of them were hugely succesful all over the world).

Beyonce has became one of my favourite artists ever this year.

Didn't Christina say she takes a long break in between albums to actually live a life and have some experience in order to write songs?

I think that works for her though. It means fans have the chance to miss her. Plus all her albums sound different to the last so it's never the same old same old. She's been on the scene for 10 years now and she's only released 3 albums - unlike someone like Britney who's being churning out albums almost annually, and we all know Britney's the definition of a "half-arsed popstar" these days anyway.

Christina took too long, but she started a family and whatever makes her happy is fine. I just hope Bey doesn't stick with the same pop/folk/rnb/rock vibe with the next album. I want her to go back to full on RnB/Pop ala Dangerously In Love and Destiny Fulfilled. I want to see her writing again, because her style is too different on this album to be hers in my opinion. Just make good music and stop focusing on being "epic" or "iconic". And some high budget videos please!

I so agree. You do need to take a break

As bad as it was, the incident with Rihanna and Chris Brown was a life experience and it has paid off her new album. Even when Britney took 4 years off to be a mum, her Blackout album still showed no major breakthrough.

I agree. You need a life experience to allow growth in ur music.

As bad the incident was, Rihanna's attack has really shown how much of a strong woman she is and it has paid of a hell of a lot in her new album.

Even when britney took 4 years off to be a mum and a wife, her blackout album still showed no growth in her music.

I'd say Blackout is Britney's best and most consistently amazing album and probably the best dance/pop album of the decade.

I wouldn't say it's dance pop. It's R&B. Well that album is.

Beyonce really showed on her third album she didn't need people like her husband to give her hits. She worked with different people on this record. I hope she works with those people again.

Yes but Rihanna also took the pi55 with GGGB releasing practically everything but a select on it

I thought Beyonce was supposed to be taking a year off? Not that i'm complaining,if she churns out another epic like IASF then why not.
