Tribute Bands !
Mr&MrsRR

They are a lot of tribute bands and singers doing the rounds i was at "The magic of Motown" show last week it was ok but it made me wonder are they shows a waste of time and money when you can watch the real thing( obviously if they are still alive) then at the end of the show they sell cds( you could download or nip into HMV and buy the original artists)

So what are your thoughts on these tribute bands are they the type of singer's you would find on X Factor wanting fame so they dress up as a pop star and sing their hits ?

What do you think

Not really my cup of tea, except for The Australian Pink Floyd Show.

They dont try to look, or dress like the originals (who tended not push themselves to the fore anyway).

What they do have is a fantastic sound system, a great light show etc, and most of all a fantastic reproduction of the Pink floyd sound. They really could be the real thing. Any Floyd fan really should see them. They wouldn't be disappointed.
