GVG DVD model DV995
This DVD player is currently being sold by W H Smith. Has anyone bought one and if so what is the performance like?

i have heard good things about this player, however it isnt as good as their other player, the Cyberhome CH DVD 400 which they also sell at the same price.

Thanks for the reply Dan. Haven't seen Cyberhome yet, local store only has GVG machine at £39.99! Hence the interest.

ah right, i see, the cyberhome model was available before christmas and should still be available now. It was very highly regarded.

just looked on smith's web site. No cyberhome DVD player there other than the ultra portable at £99. Me thinks they're gone. Regards geow14 |

i hade a Cyberhome it was ok for about 2 weeks then it just did not play dvd`s so took it back to whsmiths and got a maxim 5.1 mx-11.41
thats been ok so far as for the GVG i have no idea Sc00terx
