Jan Ravens

I've read several posts saying she's the most hated contestant ever after her exit but I didn't watch it.

What actually happened?

All help appreciated.

I believe Mr Ravens tried to thump Craig in the bar after her last show and after she was voted out in the dance off she very snidely said to Craig 'I bet you're happy now' To which he replied 'well yes I am actually'. All very handbags it was.

Not so much what was said but how it was said. She was clearly furious, very ungracious, shaking with anger and at the point where most people try to be gracious to their partner, the show team etc she behaved like she was having an almighty strop.

Still , can't help wishing someone would put the judges in their place when they're being particularly nasty. Craig to Alesha for instance but of course agree it would be much more better ( Alesha grammar) if done in a rising above it sort of way.

She did make a fool of herself with the 'happy now' comment - but in mitigation most of Revel Horwood's critiques were cruel and derisory.

I may be wrong - but I thought it was her husband who threatened to thump him.

IIRC only John Sargent managed it. Revel Horwood was lost for words and left woefully speechless when The Sarge put him in his place on ITT.

What a moment!

Well she could have made her point with a bit more dignity and class a la John Sergeant. As it was, she made a fool of herself and just looked like a bitter, spoilt loser.

Julian Clary always managed to put the judges in their place. Comments like Silly Old Queen spring to mind.
