Seriously, everybody needs to buy this. No excuses.

8 perfect new tracks, plus the whole of The Fame.

No thanks. I would rather my ears didn't throw themselves from the sides of my head while I hear her tripe.

I'd love to know what you listen to. Actually no, don't bother listing.

TFM is pure genius!

can't wait to get home tonight and buy it!

by the way, is it true that if you already own The Fame you can buy the extra tracks from The Fame Monster on their own?

In your opinion. She isn't even original in her style, she stole most of it from David Bowie. So she is hardly as original as her fans clamour she is.

Gaga even said herself recently that she was inspired by Bowie. anyway, i don't think any of her fans honestly give a s**t about who she may or may not be similar to, we just love her for who she is and what she does. and besides, no-one can really be 100% original, everyone will always be compared to other artists no matter what they do.

Yeah i agree with this. Gaga said she herself has become a theif in the eye of the public. She said (an interview on YT somewhere) that she tricks people into believing that she's genuine. But has no time for what people think. Whether it's good or bad.

And yeah every artist gets comparisons, LOL some people were saying that gaga's 'so happy i could die' is a 'damn right rip off of Natasha's 'pocketful of sunshine'- lmao, are they joking? that song was sh*t!

Yes - Christina Aguilera. Soo many stand out songs from that album...and since then she's only released one other album so of course she hasn't topped it...yet. Her new one...hopefully should

Not sure I would consider The Fame Monster pop album of the decade but it (along with The Fame) is definitely the pop album of the year. There isn't a dud song on there. Even speechless has proved itself to be a bit of a heartbreaking song and shown her much softer side in a genuine way.

TFM also has a different feel to TF but its not a complete 180 it feels like a natural transition. I think its shown that Lady Gaga is more than a one album sensation! Hopefully she will be around for a while because she's easily one of the most interesting women in music today.

1. Bad Romance - 9/10
2. Alejandro - 8/10
3. Monster - 7.5/10
4. Speechless - 9/10
5. Dance In The Dark - 8.5/10
6. Telephone - 9/10
7. So Happy I Could Die - 8/10
8. Teeth - 7/10

Overall - 8.25 (pretty consistent album but not good enough to be called a classic)

True, shame she didn't continue in that vein. Back to Basic was balls.

I would say The Fame is one of the best albums of the decade. I actually have been saying this since I actually purchased the album in January.

The Fame Monster on the otherhand has just taken it on a new level. In a good way that is.

The only song I am not keen on is So happy i could die but i won't trash it.

I wouldn't say perfect catchy tunes, but yes, there are some good tunes on this particular album. I honestly didn't think Lady Gaga's music would appeal to me. I'm not saying I'm buying it as I don't know anything about her music/album history, but yes, I do like some of the tracks on it.
