Thanks for posting the link gmbstar, I'm working my way through the performances and of those I've watched so far I'd rate Shakira for the sheer fun of the whole routine with the dancers and I'm amazed at how good Jay-Z and Alicia Keys were. I'm not a great fan of the song but that was a wonderful performance imo.
Did I spot Leona Lewis and Chrissie Hynde in the audience during the performance by Jay-Z? Very disappointed by Janet Jackson I have to say. Kelly Clarkson was good but the song isn't anything special. |

JLo was the best in my honest opinion. Her little fall aside which you could've missed if you blinked (is it weird that I think the correct word should be blunk lol?). Amazing, Janet standard imo.

I thought Whitney did well, the best she has performed in years. The voice is slowly getting better and stronger.
Lady Gaga was a highlight, a beautiful performance of Speechless. |

Janet killed it at the start! Put the Britneys and RiRi's to shame with that opening dance. She's still got it
BEP were amazing as always and loved that version of MMH. Lady Gaga was as dementedly brilliant as per usual and was great to hear her actually sing Speechless stripped down. Totally lol'd at J-Lo's fall but she recovered well and the songs pretty standard. But Whitney was the biggest surprise of the night. After the X Factor debacle I expected some more wrecking of trains but its actually the best I have heard her in years and it was genuinely touching when the crowd were clapping at the end. Janet was fantastic
. I really hope this is a new start for her. She has been tragically overlooked these past few years
