Petition for a three couple final not the borefest that a two couple final would be

I would be in favour of a 3 person final if there was a third person whose dancing was good enough but unfortunately now Jade has gone there isn't.

I agree a two person final would be boring, especially if its between Ali and Ricky, but who would be the third person?

I didn't because I wasn't supporting either of them.

I don't understand why the BBC didn't do the rollover of scores and votes this last weekend as many have suggested. With the divide at the top of the leaderboard now, maybe they don't want to risk a more 'popular' couple winning a public vote against the two top-marked couples in the final, where the judges scores don't count towards the result. In a two couple final I think it will be a popular couple against one of the two top performers, resulting in a very uneven contest which might be uncomfortable to watch.

I feel that there is not enough strength and depth for there to be a final three. I don't mind having a final two as long as there isn't a ridiculous amount of dances like SCD 5. Alesha and Matthew and Flavia and Matt looked exhausted.

A two couple final is a complete :yawn::yawn: borefest for me.

Three couples are needed.

Yes please to three couples! Would love to see Ricky, Ali and Chris all there!

I can't see the point of a three couple final this year: the only dancers who might conceivably have challenged Ali and Ricky W (Zoe, Jade, possibly Martina) are out. Sadly I agree that it's going to come down to stamina, which means that Ricky will almost certainly end up winning the judges' marks.

The fact that Ali and Ricky are streets ahead of the other couples isn't a good reason for it only to be a two couple final. If you apply that logic, the Premiership ought to kick out all teams bar four or five.

I guess we're iether stuck with a boring two couple final or another fixed semi final. (As in, "Oh, gosh, the scores are totally level. The only thing we can do is let eeryone through to the final. What a surprise!") Now, that was a cringeworth moment in Strictly history.

I loved that final too but if you'd added Gethin (or possibly Kelly) into the mix it would possibly have been even better. Series three was an awesome final and if it had been two person we won't have got to see Zoe's showdance in fact if both the best two showdances have been in three person finals - the other one being Tom's last year which we wouldn't have seen either had it not been a two-person final. Can you imagine what a yawnfest a Rachel/Lisa final like the judges wanted would have been? And I wouldn't have missed Lisa's showdance either because I have a cruel streak and Brendan annoyed me so much it was fun to watch him get so badly wrong.

I think having Chris, Ali and Ricky in the final would make for a better final than any two of them be. Personally the 'new' dances they're introducing seem pointless so given that series three was the last time something didn't go belly up that meant that it was either a two-person final or a three-person one under a cloud then why don't the beeb simply cut the show short by a week and have schedule in a double elimination in the semi-final that way you're covered for anything that might cause a contestant to be unable to continue in the competition which has happened for the past FOUR years now.

Yes, three couple final please, please, please!! Can't see it happening, though. This week would have been the perfect opportunity to do a rollover of votes and count Jade as this week's elimination, but the BBC decide to solider on regardless until something stops them (like last year's semi-final tie situation).

Not having a three couple final denies the viewers of seeing a freestyle routine from the 3rd couple (eg Gethin/Camilla, Emma/Darren) and an Argentine tango routine from the 4th couple (eg Austin/Erin). It also needlessly drags on with unnecessary dances and exhausts the two remaining couples. What is the point of a dual Viennese waltz anyway?

3 person final, please!

Chris v Natalie v Ali

Infinitely more exciting than Ricky v Ali (which I probably wouldn't even bother staying awake for...)
