Who do you mean Pentax? This could relate to more than one celeb!
The one where I was glued for 7 weeks when my 2 faves went in one week and I suffered a quite staggering and unexpected loss of interest
OTOH... The one where i finally signed up to post on DS

It didn't help any of the ex-EE lot last year quite the reverse in fact and it's only done so much for Craig Kelly and Ricky Groves. At the end of the day the Hollyoaks actors are just better dancers ironically the performance is the thing missing from their dances but techically they are both very good. People like Nat Cass's gusto - and she's better than most of the people who have gone before her. I have everything crossed she doesn't win and would happily ditched her last week but I don't think the fact she's still there is an incredible travesty.

Soap popularity, as katmobile says, has bog all to do with the final decision - if it were just about being on a soap then Louisa, Letitia et al would never have fallen at the final hurdle.
Natalie isn't a Georgina Bouzova, but she ain't no Tom Chambers either. So far, apart from the usual 'random' result of Zoe going early, the couples have been voted off pretty much in order of their relative talents, so I'd expect her day to come shortly.

I completely agree and personally I think the background of a celeb is academic.

I've criticised Alesha for how she treated Craig, but I think this comment says more about you than about her.
The one where the BBC decided to make a few changes to freshen up a show that was in danger of becoming stale (only to learn that a large portion of the population were willing to pass judgement on the changes before a minute of footage was aired, followed by weeks of nit-picking by said population in an attempt to justify their hasty condemnation of the show).
The one where I realised I'd been guilty of judging the Jordans on their first series, and had allowed that to prejudice me against them; on the basis of this series I quite like them.
The one where I really wished Anton would leave (but I would like Erin to stay - although her latin isn't as strong as the other female pros at least she tries, whereas Anton seems to find it all a bit of a joke).
The one where I realised that one of my favourite dancers (Karen) is much more suited as a pundit/critic/analyst than as a dancer or a judge (IMO) - put her on red button commentary please!
The one where X-Factor wiped the floor with SCD in terms of musical guests.
The one where Jade Johnson had to withdraw in terrible circumstances and will be sorely missed.
The one where mid-series there were 2 different shows (Blackpool/NoBruce) and it became clear that the show is bigger than any one part.
The one where I still hold out hope that someone who is clearly good enough to win manages to unleash some sheer enthusiasm for what they're doing because watching the two frontrunners at the moment is a bit....clinical for me - it feels like they're going through the motions. Alesha's enthusiasm in series 5 was infectious. I miss that. (Another reason I miss Jade).
The one where I hope the BBC realised that 16 couples is too many - please can we go back to 12 (at most 14)?

I noticed that Mariah Carey guested on XF last weekend (a colleague told me she was rubbish by the way, ruined a Foreigner classic). Wasn't she invited onto Strictly the week before and somehow it didn't come off?
Perhaps someone involved with the commercial show, whose name rhymes with 'bowel', has been at least partly responsible for the relatively dismal musical guests on our favourite this year?

Rumour has it Mariah was due on as the musical guest on the NoBruce! episode, but Pieman Bowel said that if she appeared on SCD he wouldn't have her on X-Factor.
Don't know how true that is though, based purely around the fact that last year Beyonce was on both shows (SCD about 4 or 5 weeks before she popped up on X-Factor). It could have been that she was pre-recording X-Factor that night (again, speculation on my part) and so wasn't able to fit both into her schedule so she went with the higher rating show.
The one where I actually started watching the show rather than just assume I wouldn't like it. Think I've enjoyed this more than any series of the X Factor. Now...to hunt down those past series.

The one where many people were unnecessarily nasty about the new judge, when she really didn't deserve it.

The one where... this board reached a new low with the number of posters who never came near this board before the JS saga and are unable to make their point without resorting to vile personal comments.

Takes one to know one, I always say. Don't you agree, Buddy?
