I think this part of the thread got bogged down in religous views. Some people must have wondered why Laila was doing a photo shoot in a muslim country and that Anton may not have been recieved well there.

I don't really think this would have made much difference.
As someone else said it wouldn't have taken place in Saudi Arabia.

Anyway I still hope Laila and Anton push through to the final.

They still have an outside chance

He spent the day playing golf.

Laila and Anton are the only couple to have never danced first.

If they don't dance first next week I will scream.

Well I loved Laila and Anton tonight...I`am not Anton`s greatest fan but he excelled himself this evening....I loved their Charleston....Laila was elegant and sooooo smooth and yet the dance retained it`s Charleston vibe.

I hope this time in Morocco doesn't affect her dance routine now that we're a hairs whisker from the final.”

NO, Anton played golf and loved it by the sound of

So really they did quite well with it tonight.
Do you just cut and paste this continual invective against Anton?! It would just be nice, once in a while, to see your point of view on something other than this man who you clearly regard as worse than Nick Griffin. What a shame that you'll have to re-do all your posts when the series ends and the full facts are finally out there!
Do you really think we will ever get the 'full facts'. I would like to think so. Then maybe the red faced ones around us will send loads of apologises to Anton

You may have to miss a really good final then if that's the case. The way things are going he has now got a chance albeit a thin one to get there. Better make sure you have other plans that night.

I'm obviously in the minority in this thread as I really don't rate Laila in SCD or indeed Anton in anything but Ballroom.
I only knew Laila from Primeval (and I now realise she wasn't actually acting in that) and I have the impression that she is only half hearted in her SCD appearances, she really doesn't appear to be giving time and effort that the dances require and deserve and that the others are giving. It is also apparent in her performances, Tango apart (that was quite good).

She doesn't have the natural talent to progress nor does she appear to be improving week on week with practice. I think it is her time to leave next week.

Add to that the convenient "injury" during her Latin week (Latin being Anton's bete noir), I think the partnership, such as it is, has run its course.

Oh, and I have really gone off Anton this series, he seems to think he is not just King of Ballroom but King of SCD - he is so not

Sorry, I think these two comments are a bit harsh!
Because of the 'who hah' at the beginning of this run I think Anton has been very reserved this series and any comments re being the 'King of Ballroom' have not come from him, but from others on the boards. I was saying only today that he has been very quiet and has got on with the game in question. I think he has handled himself very well. As for Laila's injury do you not think enough has already been ssaid about this. could we not just concentrate on their dancing
