Simon: What's she [Dannii] saying?

In the sing off Dannii asked if it was a singing competition and simon had to ask Cheryl "Whats she saying?" which showed that Dannii gets ignored by Simon.

Isn't this just adding evidence that Dannii is heading for the sack?

What are peoples opinions?

He didn't hear her because of the noise

Simon is a man of the people...and the people ignore Dannii too...

I think it was a mixture of both tbh - the noise and the fact he doesn't give a toss what she says.

Well you don't ignore her.
You bring her up in every single thread here.

I think that Simon is too busy making eyes at Cheryl to pay any attention to anything else going on around him!

That would be about right and he also probably knew she was going to have a go at him as well, so wanted to just ignore her even more than normal.

it's not the first time he has done it either (I spotted it too)

Simon doesn't get that Dannii is popular as he is so into Cheryl. I actually think Dannii won't go back of her own accord and I think she knows her X factor journey is done.

Dannii has had several careers along the way and I think motherhood may be her next career stop!

Dannii really cares for her acts and works with them and for them.
Dannii is too, the judge who makes the best and most constructive comments on all the acts. Like Simon used to do.

It just struck me as odd as after all she was deciding Olly's fate and as his mentor surely simon could take his out of Cheryl's chest to listen?

I think it was a misguided thing to say and once again shows that she isn't working well with this show at the moment. It was clear JEdward were going home, their time was up, even Louis admitted their time was up.. so why did Dannii have to turn it into a big issue? One last dig over losing Lucie perhaps.. but Simon looked very annoyed.

I hope Dannii tells Simon to stuff the job when Cheryl wins with Joe If Cheryl is the winning judge again, it is obviously Cheryl's show and I won't bother watching again next year.

They're trying to make everyone turn against dannii this year and its disgusting...she's a very valued member of the panel me thinks

I do think Joe will win.
There's no way the producers are going to let a girl win again.

Though it was probably very noisy, I thought it was very telling - it kinda sends the message that he doesn't really give a toss about what she says. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think this is Dannii's final year.

Rachel and Lucie are so grateful for all she did for them this year. Especially compared to that hateful Cheryl with her acts.

Oh how right you are!
Everything has changed so much this year. Especially Simon and Cheryl. There is something very nasty and vicious in the attitudes of Simon and Cheryl.
I really liked Cheryl last year but this year she is very different. She cannot stand any critique against her, or her acts, unless it is made by Simon of course. She gives out an air of self importance. Calling Louis rude because of some innocuous comment he made. Yet previously telling him to "shutup" several times. It was Louis that handled her career in the early days and why she is sitting ther now. She is totally disrespectful toward him.

Simon has changed beyond belief. From a figure who, could be harsh, even brutal at times. But, Always Always Always - totally and utterly HONEST & FAIR. That is what has made him what he is. We may not have always agreed with him but my word, we respected him! and then we loved him.

Where is that man now? Still doing the same shows but now, he seems unable to make any real decisions and passes it to the public vote so that he can say - " I never voted this act off. I left it to the public vote! the public voted them off" it wasn't me! So pathetic!

That failure to decide is not the Simon we used to know, and it is not the attitude that made him famous. Nobody would make it in this business, or any other come to that, with this cop out attitude.

Just one more thing. Simon seems to have a really bad attitude toward Dannii. It is so bad that it actually comes over as bullying and it really comes over strongly on the extra factor. I cannot understand this at all because Dannii has changed so much this year - for the better - and is an excellent judge who gives really constructive comments.

I don't think it's rigged. I think it's manipulated and everyone made it clear form the beginning it's time for a boy to win.

They do not fix the show, but they do give the favourite, great VT, song choice. To me it was apparent when Joe got a standing ovation when to be honest is performance was very good but no different to other performances of his. The biggest giveaway for me Joe is fav was the charity single and the last two group songs he hadcentre stage with lots of vocals.

The boy was never meant to be one of the young ones, though. The failures of the girls and overs have opened the door for Joe who is not always spectacular but pretty consistent... and for that reason, a better singer than Danyl.

He knew what she was going to do anyway, his comments to Jedward made it clear that he knew they were going home. The chances are that it's all agreed during the ad break anyway.

Erm... could you just clarify what needs to be removed from Cheryl's chest?
