The Strokes - are people excited about a new album?

Its interesting to see how relevant they are gonna be when they finally release it. They started off the whole indie scene but lost momentum after the last album. Not to mention Julian Casablancas' solo album bombing. I think there's a resurrected interest though after "Is This It" getting recognition on various polls as being one of the best albums of the decade. |

I can't wait for it! I believe it will be excellent so I hope I'm not disappointed.
I haven't heard Casablancas's solo album yet, but I'll be giving it a whirl. I love love loved Fab Moretti's side project Little Joy's album and i saw them live this year, they were simply brilliant. |

It will be a long oversue return imho. The solo stuff isn't great and it's time for these boys to give us another album.
