If like Vincent, the other pros have outside help for the new dances as well. We all know how Anton is at Latin so this may be good for Laila.

Anyone else think the same?

I do, I'm glad he got an outside choreographer. Wise move. Best of luck to them. <3

If the tabloids have got it right then she wont be able to practice because she is away to Morocco and wont be back till Thursday

Absolutely he should get someone in to help out iwth the latin if it's in the rules. He's great at ballroom as we all know, but just not a latin bod and that can't help his celebrity. Laila's probably not going to win but she could stay in for a few more weeks if she can nail the Latin a bit more.

As previously posted.......who does the routine wont matter if she hasnt learnt it because of lack of training time

If they have someone to teach them this would be great. It would bring a new edge to the choregraphy I'm sure even Anton will rise to the challenge. However, I think Laila really needs to up her game this week to stay in the competition. Passed Latin performances, in my opinion, have been poor and I don't think it has all been down to the choreography. I'm not sure she can dance fast and she really needs to remember the choreography. I imagine they will be out of hold for a majority of the dance and any mistakes will be glaring. It's an opportunity to prove all the doubters wrong and all of those who voted for them through sympathy or otherwise.

It doesn't surprise me that Laila has done this. I suspect the "practising hard over the weekend" is a lie. I heard Anton on the radio yesterday and he said they were taught their routine by the charleston experts on Monday. He said they'd learnt it and would continue to practise it for the rest of the week. I wonder if Anton knew Laila was going to Morroco? He said nothing about it yesterday and seemed to think they would be in training for the rest of the week. I bet he is livid, and rightly so.

I'm sure he did know Laila was going to Morroco. Many celebrities have events pre-booked. This shoot could well have been booked before she even started SCD. They just have to work around it. She probably thought she wouldn't even be in the competition at this stage.

Firstly all couples will have outside help this week because of the dances involved.

Secondly every celeb will have all sorts of commitment during the four months they are involved with SDC! Natalie didn't think she's last this long either and has started filming EE again.

The Mirror article is just stirring as usual because I doubt very much if Anton is livid. Watching Anton on ITT I think he knows full well they are on their last legs with no chance of reaching the final. I'm not saying they won't do their best, just that this is another made up story.

If Laila and Anton go home this weekend, it will be because of Laila's inability to do a fast dance, not the amount of training time she had this week.
What name??

Is this the same Anton who lied about calling his partner a **** until confronted by a newspaper, is that the paragon whose word should be believed now cos he would never lie about anything to do with Laila would he?

We obviously don't know the full story but it does sound a bit barmy.

Difficult to see how she can excel if sh's not here practising!

If, as is being speculated on another thread, there is no dance off this week, it was the best time for her to do the 'shoot' if she was going to do it at all?
The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if it was postponed the week she had a bad ankle though *ducks

But why would she turn down the prospect of work arranged months ago on the basis she might still be in SCD? It happens all the time, but Laila is being singled out because of what has happened to her through out the show.

And there would be an elimination every week if Jade hadn't withdrawn remember.

Why?

Lails has been training regularly on Sundays throughout the series.

Also, intensive training on Sunday, Thursday and Friday will probably equate to the same amount of training that someone like Natalie C, who has resumed filming for Eastenders, will manage to fit in.

It also gives Anton a chance to get to grips with the choreography before when Laila gets back, so he should be able to support her more now.

And way more than last week's 6½ hours.
Anton's probably bricking it because he's new (competitively speaking) to that dance.

I'm just jealous that she's in Morocco! It's beautiful this time of year with temps in the mid 20's (unless you're up the mountains then it's not!)... God I'd love to be back there.

I don't understand why the viewers care how many hours the celebs put in. As long as the end result is good, that's all that matters. And if Laila doesn't put ina good performance, don't vote for her. It's simple.

I think this will be her dance.

Don't know if this helps Laila followers or not but these are Ricky's last few tweets:-

["I]crazy day,6:20am start,down 2 London for Scd for 20minute chat then train back,stuck for 4hrs,filmin at 5 then danced 8-11,gettin in now!!

6:20 London train tomoz again for photo shoot then Paul o grady at 12-2, rehearse for Scd til 5:30 then train back north then dance til 11!!

On way to london for photo shoot, shattered!!! Can’t say I don't work for it! Sooo sleepin on train, missed brekkie so choccy&crisps for now![/i]"

He also tweeted that he was rehearsing on Sunday... bit of a full on week for both Ricky & Laila.

Laila has been judged harshly throughout the competition. I recall one week she did a great ballroom with Anton - the VW maybe? - and the judges merely focused on telling her she needed to do better in her Latin, and the low scores seemed to reflect that she isn't as good as Latin despite having just danced a ballroom...?
I also think the paso Laila did in Blackpool was one of the dances of the series but again got marked down - with the judges claiming a lift (and even with the lift it deserved 9s imo).
I fear, Laila fans, that her number is up. She can come out and perform brilliantly on Sat but I cannot see her polling high enough in relation to Nat & Chris, so she is almost certainly doomed

Yes that annoyed me. Ali's VW didn't get criticised because her Paso Doble was really bad the week before.

I know her time is probably up this week and it doesn't bother me that much because my 3 favourites have made it to the top 5. Something is going to have to give soon so I'd rather Laila went than My Little Chris () or Natalie.

No trawling for sympathy in those tweets, then!

Can I just point out that the Sunday training could be for the Group dance they are doing this week.....thats usually when they train for any group dances and they have a group VW this week. Not saying that they didnt train for their individual dances too but I would have thought that at least most of the hours on sunday would be for the group dance.

I thought the idea of Twitter was to say what's happening at that moment and, as Ricky has spent most of the week on the train, he's doing what it says on the tin.

Yes good point Buddy - mwah! x

I also agree with Lou that it's the Saturday night performance that ultimately matters.

Someome like Joe was putting in extremely long hours, but he still couldn't master the dances.

Others train very little but still manage to impress.

I'll judge Laila on the end result, not the hours spent in the training room.
