Because it makes them feel superior. They read an article in a tabloid and become all moral. If she doesn't dance very well she is likely to be voted off. No reflection on her character and not a life and death issue. People seem very surprised that that celebrities may have other things going on in their lives that they consider more important than SCD.

If you are going to diss someone, it would be useful to have some facts or even suppostion to go on...
Considering the articles states quite clearly that it was a pre-existing arrangement I don't see how it's any different to when Esther did a cruise in the middle of one week's training.
Except of course it's Laila and according to some she is an evil spoilt little princess.

I think it's different because Esther took Anton with her on that cruise so they could continue to train.

And? Who's to say Laila won't come back and do twice as much training than she normally does on a Thursday and Friday to make up for it.
If it was a long standing commitment then she can't just drop it without facing problems. Perhaps Anton didn't or couldn't go with her for some reason...

Sorry, you said it was no different to when Esther went on a cruise and I pointed out the difference.
I don't buy the long standing commitment she couldn't get out of either. Her agent could have sorted this out for her weeks ago. It's not like this was a concert where members of the public had bought tickets, or a cruise where people had booked to see somone give a talk.
I'm also suspicious that Anton didn't mention this yesterday on the radio. Either he knew and was embarrassed on her behalf, or he didn't know. Which raises even more questions.
Where is she then? What is she doing? Why weren't they on SCD this week as the lucky couple that (imo undeservedly) stayed in?

Or of course he knew and was embarrassed on his behalf. Maybe he didn't feeel comfortable flying into Morocco where of course his only claim to fame would be that on meeting his half Morrocan partner he asked her if she was a terrorist and then later called her a ****....

Actually johnnyutah, I think Natalie has lost some weight. They played a VT of her jive yesterday, and I get the impression that her thighs are now slimmer, and these days she'd definitely be able to kick more than 50% of the height Vincent was reaching.

If she's signed a contract to do this photo shoot then she won't be able to breach it. If the magazine have planned to have her in a particular issue then they'll not want to change it.

I don't buy it. And as you say - it's a lot of if's. Either way we don't know the full story.
