Q Top 50 albums of 2009
http://www.sputnikmusic.com/news.php?newsid=11356
predictable as ever.. Arctic Monkeys and Muse sure to be in the top 10 even though they've made disapointing albums this year. Also the token U2 album has to be in there. people slag off NME but at least if a band that they've championed for ages makes a duff album they'll be honest about it and say it's crap. Q never seem to do that. Can't really argue with the number 1 though, but still should have been Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Also Wild Beasts should be much higher |

Great to see Florence so high up; Lungs is fantastic. Agree that Muses' album was a bit disappointing, but in my opinion, it's still one of the best of this year, so Im ok with its position.
As I was reading down, I notice Cheryl Cole! The list loses all its credibility with the inclusion of her album. |

Not a bad list, glad to see Green Day and the Doves in there.
Surprised by Cheryl Cole being so high up. I can name at least 10 other albums that were better than this yet none are even in that list...probably didn't even make the shortlist. Not saying its a bad album but not the best album i've heard all year. |

Cheryl Cole's offering is better than Golden Silvers, Bob Dylan and Conor Oberst? I think not.
What a joke. |

Morrissey isn't even in the top 50 when he has more talent in his little finger than all of these acts.

Pleased to see Kasabian,Florence and Doves all up there for their brilliant albums. Humbug is awful though and is far too high.
