iPlayer on Freesat

Freesat is to get iPlayer on December 7th according to The Register...

My wife is just getting used to switching to the Wii for this. Chuggington and Charlie & Lola on demand certainly keeps our 3 year old happy.

I have 3 sources connected to my plasma, the HDR, a Wii and a HTPC. I'll be spoilt for iPlayer choice by Christmas day

If your party to the beta test which is what it'll be.
There is an outside chance that the general rollout will be before christmas, but not guaranteed.

Won’t make much difference to me.

I have found it handy for watching the BBC News channel Click programme via my PS3 and can’t see that changing here although the PS3 is a bit clunky using the games controller I hope the HDR will be easier using it’s remote.

So now I not only have to make up my mind to what is worth recording, in future I will have to sit down for 10 minutes every week to make up my mind to what to watch it on, the PS3 or the HDR.

Decisions, decisions all the time decision and no time left to watch TV.
