Is it just me or does this do nothing at all?

It did something for me, made my dark circles burn a little bit :P Works okay for my mum though. Not a spectacular difference, just a slight one.

I won't be trying it again! I have tried so many eye creams and the search continues...

Is it a bit like putting cold tea spoons on your eyes?

If you want to try something a little different. Try tea bags......

Green tea works best. Instead of throwing them out after making a cup, squeeze until just damp, allow to cool a little of course. What you do is, when you take a bath, place one over each closed eye for around five minutes and just relax. It definitely makes your eyes feel more refreshed.

Creams, roll on, potions, poisons... Waste of money in my opinion.

I've tried it and it did bugger all. Two other friends tried it too and it didn't work for them either.
I use elemis under eye serum which works better.

I saw this on Boots.com today:

Garnier Caffeine Anti-dark Circles 2-in-1 Roll-on

It contains a concealer aswell as an eye-cream. I'm so tempted to get it, but I think it will be another £10 wasted.

it will be just a glorified concealer i think

I'm so disappointed with it - what a load of cack! Makes no difference whatsoever - tenner totally wasted.

Oh well, back to drinking plenty of water and eight hours sleep then.

In my experience, the only eye creams/serums that work are the higher priced premium brands. I wouldn't even give Garnier/L'Oreal products the time of day, much less use them on my face!

Good ones to try:
Elemis Pro-Collagen Eye Cream (about £60)
Dr Brandt Lineless Eye Cream (about £55)

It does look like a massive outlay, but when you consider that they are better quality, you don't need to use as much therefore they last much longer. I've had my Dr Brandt for about a year, and still only used about half.

My dark circles got better using Nivea Visage Aqua Sensation stuff. It doesn't last all day but it does make a difference to my blackies!

Only used it the once and the compliments I recieved was enough for me. My husband asked why I looked like a panda and almost frightned my grandmother in law to death in morrisons. Poor woman thought my husband had given me two black eyes.

I used to be a bit of beauty brand junkie - lack of funds and time (new mum) has meant I do use a lot of the cheaper brands and I agree the higher end brands do "sometimes" (gotta do your homework) have a better selection and concentration of ingredients. I think the chemist/supermarket brands such as L'Oreal and Garnier do work but only if you have reasonably good skin to begin with or young skin (only my opinion) if you want specialist skincare or have a specific complaint I think it's better to spend that little bit more and get a specialist product.

The new garnier anti dark circle thing is basically a concealer in a roll on form that has a cooling sensation and does bugger all for my dark circles apart from cover them up with the concealer bit - but I already have a makeup bag bursting with concealer's!. The original green anti eyebag eye roll on was even worse, I would have got the same effect if I left my usual eye cream in the fridge over night.
