Poor Brian was clearly gutted on ITT - not helped by mad as a box of frogs Claudia coming out with lines like

"I want to go WOOOO-hoo"

This should have been a serious interview - I think the producers and Brian probably know NOW that Ali will not be able to continue in the show - even if she is allowed a 'bye' for next week.

If this Saturdays show has only 4 couples, even doing 2 dances each, I hope the BBC does not 'pad' the show out to fit the allocated time, but instead cuts it by 15 minutes.

Even sillier Ricky W will be beaten either by whichever of Nathalie and Chris make the final if Laila has a good dance off dance or he may well come third. If Nat and Chris split the vote he might have a chance but unless they inflate the marks for two finalists its going to look horribly one sided.

This series is jinxed. Ali needs the Charleston to tick the wow factor box but can't wow on one leg so she loses out even if she can recover for next week. She would have to get into the top 2 in the vote to escape a dance off on one leg with all the dire dancers now gone. If she can't walk on it today they should call it early and take the week out.

Laila my favourite, Ali my second favourite, Jade my third.
All had injuries

Laila could have done a goodish Rumba and a high scoring Waltz if not for the injury. The Rumba ruined her Waltz chances, now with this stupid photoshoot (I'm not blaming her for it) her Charleston will suffer.

Ali's injury is looking pretty bad and even though Claudia tried to keep everything up in the air I could tell from Brian's expression that he knew very well the result.

And lastly Jade, who's Tango would have been sensational. Getting better week by week but left.

If Ali pulls out and Laila goes out this week I will never watch Strictly again.

They are only doing one so its 4 dances to spin out over the whole length.......... There was mention of a twist to be revealed tomorrow which sanely ought to be no one going this week - but they can't carry Ali's votes or marks over if she has none or very few because she couldn't move.

If she is in doubt long term they just have to stop people going or they could end up with one person left for final week and now is the only time before the QF or the final they can take a week off voting as its not a QF or SF if there's no one going. .

I know I and some more hard-core, thick-skinned Whittle Watchers will be rooting for him too. Its hard to express that feeling so freely on here though with the incomprehendable dislike for him.

He deserves to win. The best dancer, for me.

On top of that you have all three of Ricky's competitors injuring themselves - they had spares to keep a competition going and its now down to one on one leg.

Laila's even got rock and roll which is to Anton what salt is to snails - when she might have had more chance acting a Charlston both in the competition and any dance off.

I was about to add that point to the Nathalie the chosen one thred. Another ITT and 3 more ex celebs and no one has selected a Ricky W dance as their favourite and no one has said they want him to win. He's so far ahead that thats either spin or a sign that he is grossly underappreciated.

If this happens, I really think that for the next two weeks there should be no more evictions... wow that sounded a bit Big Bro but I think you know what I mean.
