I put that down to a moment of madness (granted, it was a moment that lasted 3 years!).

I've got a much more respectable crush now - the presenter of Eggheads.
Hey Sid! Dermot or Jeremy? I have a favourite but am interested to know yours first - still slightly reeling from the DC confession!

BTW, loving your services!

I would throw that cracker in my food recycling bin, and replace it with a lovely slice of Jeremy on toast!! Oh, happy thoughts - back on topic!

Hehe! Well at least this means we wouldn't have to share

What have been your Strictly highlights so far then?

Loving it all still - had a glitch at Jade's withdrawal , but still enjoying ITT and the Saturday show. Firmly supporting the two smallest ones now - in fact I think the eldest and the youngest as well!

I'm happy that we have a happy thread with no nasty comments!!

I'm happy my favourite is still in, even if she is in Morocco.
Even happier that she would re-create Flashdance if she could pick a dance scene from a movie.

:Prays to the gods of the Showdance that they get to the final and this comes true:
(Anton can hand out popcorn or something during it...)

Well done you!

The group Jive from a couple of years ago is still my favourite ever pro dance and I've been dying to see it again.

Cheers a million for the link

Me too. I loved her and Brian.

It's a shame she didn't live up to her initial promise.

Laila has certainly been involved in a fair amount of controversy but I love her all the same!

I want to see more of her on our screens once Strictly ends.

It's not always a popular dance, but did anyone else enjoy the group Rumba (to Frozen) last Saturday?

I loved everything about it - from the music, the lighting and the choreography.

No problem, I only came across it when someone posted on here to compare this years pro-jive, haven't been able to stop watching it since

Hasn't Nicole Cutler got the most amazing legs?

I don't really remember her as she left before I started watching properly but she is ace in this dance so I can see why people really miss her.

This pro-dance also makes me happy, mainly because at 2:40 they start dancing to the song we had for the first dance at our wedding

I like to think we did it just as much justice!

What a nice thread makes a change from all the horrible ones!!

I am really enjoying SCD and my favourites Ricky and Natalie I think they are amazing dancers and seem such nice people.
Loving Ali and Brian - Ali's ballroom is out of this world and they are stunning together. So sad she is injured and hope she can make it back somehow.
Enjoying Chris and Ola for the laughs.
Also loved Zoe and James and Jo and Brendon they were a delight and was lovely to see Brendon so supportive.

I really liked this, I agree it all came together on this one, beautiful dance

My favourite pro dance was the quickstep last series by Anton and Flavia, joined by Erin and Vincent to "Let's face the music"

I'm very happy that Camilla no longer looks like an extra from the thriller video and is being fed prodigious amounts of food by her beau, Kevin Sacre

...and even happier to admit I think they'll be very happy together whatever fate throws their way

Finally I'm very happy that in spite of all the bile and invective thrown around like confetti on the forum that most people retain a sense of perspective and can express their views without resorting to the language of the playground maybe one day I'll be able to do it as well

Im bumping this thread as after the past few days, I think we need to inject a bit of happiness again into this forum. Treat this thread, if you will, as your Forum Prozac

So. Im happy because

Ricky is dancing tonight
Im looking forward to Cola's Charleston
The pro dance is always something to look forward to

And Ive found the ignore option on DS and all of a sudden I feel happier and peaceful with one click!

Do you think that as well as their gorgeous dresses, they will be wearing colour co-ordinated crash helmets and elbow pads -
With sequins?

Great idea Dr. B., thank you. Just hope people keep on topic so those of us (sad, pathetic ) people who nheed cheering up now and again can rely on this thread at least!

I'm happy that:

- At first I wasn't interested in Team Cola but have come to love (and vote for ) them for the sheer entertainment factor.

- Other people on the Strictly threads keep posting links to brilliant Youtubes - Paolo Nutini official vid., the perfection that Was Ian and Jodie's Pride and Prejudice waltz, the hliarity of the annotated version of Brendon and Lisa's show dance ...

- Even when this series hasn't always, ahem, inspired, there's always "Musings" to look forward to.

- Claudia is on FIVE times a week!

- If I ever run out of cake (seldom) the Naughty Steppers are always more than willing to share.

So big thanks to everyone responsible for the above. I've been having a miserable time and Strictly/DS forums add a little much neede cheer.

Now, will someone please post me a link to "Get your own fairy godmother here"?!!
