Yay - a positive thread! This forum is so full negative at times. I'm actually really enjoying this series despite all the problems. Nothing's perfect. If people are sooooooooooo disappointed with it - stop watching. We're 11 weeks in with 3 weeks to go and it's not going to change now is it! Anyway rant over - my happy moments this series are Team Cola and Natalie and Vincent. I know neither of them are the best dancers but I think that they've both been matched perfectly.

What I like about Natalie is that she appears to be loving every minute of it and I'd much rather have that than someone who hates every minute (e.g. a certain Ms Phillips!)

ALMOST all of tonight's episode of Strictly made me happy! I refuse to go off topic by saying the (few) bits that didn't - no doubt our friends on the other threads will be busy burning up their keyboards right now dissecting everything they can think of and forgetting that it was (mostly) fun!

Go swimming hobbits!

I'm really upset about Nat & Vinny going out tonight but it was absolutely the right decision.

It was their time.

I'm glad they got such a warm send off. They deserved it

Oh dr b, thank goodness for this thread! I wanted to come on and say how much I enjoyed tonight's show, but hardly dared to - but now I have the courage!

I am enjoying this series of Strcitly as much as I ever do; highlights tonight were Laila shining in the Charleston, (she did look like a goddess, and she enjoyed herself! ) Chris and Ola's 'swimming', all my faves being saved, Vincent's tears - how cute! - and poor old Ricky W making it through what must have been a difficult night. Even the naff bits were good. I love Strictly and am full of gratitude to the celebs and pros for working so hard to entertain us every week. Don't want it ever to end!

Love this!!

I wasn't looking forward to tonight's show but it turned out a lot better than expected and made me smile.

I'll miss Vincent but it was definitely time for Natalie to go. I'm glad she enjoyed her experience and got so many weeks out of it. I'll miss their training footage - always guaranteed to make me smile.

RnR was never their dance Sid - I think the standing ovation they received tonight disproved those cynics who implied that their popularity was nothing more than a BBC ploy.

They were the weakest dancers tonight, but whenever I remember them they'll bring a smile to my face - if only for the fun and exuberance they brought to the competition: and perhaps a tear or two as I recall the loss of her departure.

What a lovely post!!!! I must admit, tonight was the worst for me to watch because I could just see Ricky in the DO the minute he was introduced...Ive never seen anyone look so stressed, tired and nervous!

But I was so pleased in the DO, he really gave it beans. I was so happy to watch him get over such a difficult night and deliver the performance he wanted to give initially.

I dont think Ive got the energy to watch it next week, its my wedding anniversary and I dont want it spoilt with a RW exit!

Don't worry, he won't go out, the only small chance would be in a DO with Ali and I can't see that happening next week.

Anyways my happiness tonight is Laila and Anton and the fact that they aren't getting bashed into the ground! Lovely Charleston!

Aw DrB what a nice thread! Happy anniversary and good luck with the new job!

I am happy for this week's dances, it was nice having something new to watch. I thought that all of the couples danced well tonight and the right person left (the worst dancer overall) although I was sad to see her and Vincent go. I am especially happy with Team Cola, they never fail to make me smile!

As if! You'll just have to watch it through your fingers. Hope you have a very happy anniversary - lots of champagne, whether Ricky goes or stays. (I don't think he'll be going anywhere, myself! )

Thanks guys!

Yeah, I'll be watching through my fingers in my swanky hotel room, shushing MrBol when he keeps saying we need to go to make our dinner reservations in time...

No problemo!

So what are we happy about today? Im happy...eermmm...

Im happy that next week we will see some 'proper' dancing. I was really looking forward to the RnR dances and dreading the Charlestons yesterday and in reality, the Charlestons were suprisingly fun to watch and both RnR's were car-crash...although Ricky pulled it out of the bag in the DO. So Im looking forward to seeing dances that I know and love this saturday.

I loved all three charlestons. Couldn't choose a favourite between them.

And VW is my favourite ballroom dance so I was very happy to see more of that.
