I for one have cancelled my preorder for Rhydian's album and I ask others to do the same unless Rhydian retracts the statements...I am writing an e-mail to the radio station in question and I hope to hear an on-air apology within the next few days...

Ha ha. So, Rhydian thinks Olly will win this year's X-Factor then? I doubt it. Joe can wipe the floor with Danyl AND Olly. People and their strange predictions, eh? I'll be utterly gobsmacked if Olly makes it past Joe.

Why do you have a problem with someone giving their opinion? As far as I can see he is as entitled as anyone to say what he wants, after all its only his opinion, the fact that its true about Danyl singing flat is as clear as day for us all to hear.
I think Rhydian is great, the fact that he agrees with my opinion just makes me like him more.

I really don't see the problem with someone giving their honest opinion on a contestant competing in a different year, and I agree with him to an extent.

It would be a different matter altogether if he were criticizing the show itself after the platform it has given him to be a successful recording artist.

Said it in the other thread. All he cares about is the publicity.

Isn't Rhydians new album coming out?? seems he is trying to get some publicity because if this flops he will end up the same way as leon.

I don't think he's going about it the right way about it then. I'd prefer to watch and listen to Danyl than flippin Rhydian!:yawn:

Rhydian is a world class vocalist who fully understands the concept of 'voice'. His criticisms of Daniel are valid as he is saying objective truths about Danyl's voice (or lack of one).

Rhydian's voice and showmanship won him praise.

However, Danyl, when he is not telling the tabloids about his sexual escapades and how he can "pull a straight guy" (whilst being a school teacher...mmm) is playing the victim on X-Factor. His voice is flat and nasally, his face looks like a baboons arse and his whole "why does no-one like me " get-up is annoying.

From day one Danyl was being promoted by Simon Cowell over the other contestants. Saying his rubbish audition was "the greatest first audition ever" and constantly giving him standing ovations for his crap performances. Lucy Jones was the best vocalist in the competition but Cowell refused to acknowledge it for fear of disclosing the fact that Danyl IS NOT that great a singer. When they tried to get Danyl air time in the United States on the back of his audition a la Susan Boyle, America laughed at him. They just didn't get the hype as his voice is crap.

Good on Rhydian for stating the truth. All these sheeple who think Danyl is a good singer need to go and understand singing !
