That's right, it wasn't so much the fact Rhyd had an opinion his singing, thats fine IMO but why comment about him as a person like that? It was only 2 years ago that Rhyd himself was getting the same rubbish and it was a very inappropriate thing to say, I'm surprised he did TBH

I'm not sure why he said it, maybe it slipped out, on GMTV he was far nicer and diplomatic so hopefully it will never happen again.

Rhydian was telling the truth about Danyl's voice. Danyl does sing flat!

Further, if Rhydian finds him smug and is not a fan of him then why can he not state that? We all form opinions of people; 99% of the time we will never know that person but merely base our opinions on intangible factors.

On the X-Factor, we are asked to spend money and vote on people we like. We have to base our voting on whatever the contestants do, say, their demeanour, their voice, the way they come accross, the vibe they give off. We all like different things in people therefore there is scope to like many types of singer/performer.

But these pro-Danyl people seem to hate any truthful criticism of their 'chosen one'. It is perfectly acceptable for them to say he is a nice guy when they have not met him and never will, but it is wrong for someone to say they find him arrogant using the same intangibles to form their opinion.

Good on Rhydian for speaking his mind!
