Sony P900 Bluetooth & Headset Issue
I have a P900 and a Sony HBH-200 Bluetooth headset.
The phone and headset have been paired successfully. The problem I have is that when the phone rings during an incoming call the headset does not always respond and ring. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It seems to be inconsistent. This happens even when they are only 12 inches apart. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks |

Thanks Are the batteries fully charged? Do you ever have any other problems such as when talking and the call drops or you can't hear them / they can't hear you? Have you tried a different BT headset? |

I do have a Nokia BT headset which seems to be okay. The retailer where I bought the Sony BT headset said they thought the P900 had alot of software bugs, and I should update the firmware on the P900. On checking I did have the latest firmware. I still reloaded it but still same problems persist. |

If your nokia headset works fine with your phone and the other one doesn't then take it back to the retailer and either exchange it or get your money back. It sounds like it could be a fulty headset.
Don't let the retailer fob you off... |

I've read on eXpansys support forums that, ironically, the HBH-200 is not the best headset to use with the P900. There certainly seem to be some compatibility issues.
I use a HBH-65 with my P900 and I'm very happy with it. It works as it should and the sound quality is rather good. |
