I am fairly new to these forums and already it strikes me how the pro-Danyl supporters (fanyls) are ruled with a sense of superiority and feel they are the moral compass of these forums.

Some observations:

1. Fanyls hate it when someone speaks the truth about Danyls mediocre singing voice. Look at how upset they are with Rhydian for calling Danyl out on his flat singing even though he is 100% spot on.

2. If anyone mentions the fact that Danyl is bisexual, in a non-derogatory way, they must immediately be homophobic. They fail to compouind this assertion with the fact that it was Danyl himself who made an issue of his sexuality in the tabloids. Apparently describing someone's sexuality is homophobic. It must be anti-semitic to say Stacey is jewish by their reasoning. Or it's anti 'up north' to say Joe is from South Shields.

3. Fanyl's will immediately use the oldest PC trick in the book to attack someone who is not a fan of Danyl - they will play the race card. Apparently to dislike Danyl you must be either homophobic or racist. Apparently, just finding him smug and not liking his singing voice is not good enough reason. Here's me thinking we were allowed to form our own opinions. Oh well.....

These are just some of the opinions I have formed. It seems anyone criticising 'dearest Danyl' is villified. These fanyls think they are the moral compass for this forum!

Honestly i come onto the internet and these forums to chat and have fun i just wouldn't bother with them no matter how annoying they might get i don't really care for the "Fanyls" its Stacy for me.

That's part of the problem. We all just want to have civil discourse; a bit of humour and fun. But I have noticed that the pro-Danyl people seem to like labelling people homophobic or racist.

I just hate it when people cannot express their views without having some ignorant PC person ready to jump down their throats.

That's a very interesting assumption, as to be honest that is all it is..... an assumption. Don't cast aspertions about all Danyl fans being like that as I am a fan of Danyl but have never been guilty of those three things that you have mentioned!!

I'll greet that assumption with the contempt it deserves!!

I think the same could be said about fans who support any of the contestants but you choose to highlight only one, interesting? and to see some points which I have never seen.

I will stand by any contestant that is attacked on personal points that we do not have all the facts about, we are judging on a singing contest or more of us are! not what a face is like or hairstyle.

From the start I have liked Danyl, Joe and Stacey! and I stick by that.

It's a bit unfair to tar all Danyl supporters with the same brush. There are a lot of Danyl fans that are very reasonable and fair.

Agreed some people just need to accept other peoples opinions wether they like them or not its quite rude and selfish but like i said i just ignore it and carry on and search for more threads after i would rather enjoy myself and have fun than obsessively worship Danyl all the time (it does get to that point).

Its one thing supporting but its another putting people down.

Supporting Danyl and/or hating Danyl is a sure ticket to disappointment. No good will come of either.

That is why most Danyl fans are jumping ship to Joe.

I love how some people feel they can speak on behalf of everyone! without any evidence at all and totally ignoring that most TV voters never visit X Factor forums and take any notice of rumours! LOL

Who do like? I'd like to hear what you have to say about your favourite contestant.

I personally have found the pro-Danyl fans to be the rudest people on these forums.

I am not saying that all Danyl fans are this way but I have noticed that if a person gives an opinion on Danyl then they are immediately attacked. Accusations of homophobia and racism are intimated at people merely giving an innocent opinion.

Look at how Rhydian is being vilified.

I just wish people could ALL express their opinions fairly. I do not think it is fair for people to be labelled these PC names just because they dare to say they are not fans of Danyl. Music and personality is subjective - hence we should all be allowed to offer up opinions.

Already people are misconstruing my words. I was merely offering up my opinion regarding the behaviour of SOME pro-Danyl fans and the way they have treated myself and others on these forums.

This thread was actually meant to reinforce the idea that we should all respect each others opinions even if we disagree with them.
