Ali's injury and Ricky being arrested has got to affect their chance of winning. Surely Chris is the front runner now?

He always tries hard, has a laugh with it and gets on well with Ola. He never moans or plays for votes, I think he could win this now. With my favourite Phil gone I shall be voting for them from this point on.

Are you Bhoy 1888 in disguise ??? actually perhaps it WAS Bhoy1888 that stood in front of Rickys car and trod on Ali's foot.

I was going to start a similar thread. I think he's got a damn good chance now. It was obvious from a few weeks ago that we weren't going to have a brilliant dancer as a winner this year. I'd love to see Chris win ... and not just because I'm a cola girl. I think they have the whole package.

Oh please! Jade got injured and had to pull out. Ali's injury doesn't look good and she's had very little time to get two dances for Saturday so she might soldier on or be forced to leave.

Ricky is still in police custody and even if he is released, it might change people's opinions of him or affect his confidence about doing two dances. Valuable rehersal time has been lost.

Laila suffered injury and was in the bottom two. That leaves Natalie and Chris who could rehearse, haven't been in the bottom two and haven't been stressed this week. But I would say Chris has the edge on popularity.

No.

Can't see why people have a problem with me daring to suggest Chris would be the frontrunner now.

This is all set up for a Hollins win now.

The opposition is falling apart.

Because it is pretty sad that someone's only hope of being frontrunner is that the othercontestants are eliminated for non dance reasons and even then its only a question of whether they are the frontrunner. Chris has now gone to the top of my list for the suspicous person behind all these "incidents".

Not saying it's fair. I wanted Phil or Jade to win but things happen and if Chris is the winner so be it.

See, now that is a little bit less ruthless. But I'm afraid the poor little hobbit will have to work a little harder as Laila is booked to return from Morocco, it looks as if Ali can walk and is determined to dance and they probably won't be keeping the Strictly One in the nick for long. However obviously Chris can still win if Donny Osmond can win DWS then anything is possible.

I suspect Chris has always been the frontrunner - in terms of the public vote anyway.

I know Chris couldn't probably win based on being best dancer but I'd be happy for him to win based on his parternship with Ola. What would sadden me is that perhaps people might think if he won that he only did so based on others leaving through injury or other mishaps (let alone eliminations some might consider premature).

That's what I thought. I can't believe I got 16-1 on him winning!

No. he's back - we should have run a sweep on what time he would post at - he could have supplied the pot from his winnings, once he's got that nasty cut seen to...
