Things you only seem to eat when you are ill....
As the title says really! I've been ill the last few days and found myself craving Heinz chicken and Tomato soup, though when i'm not ill I always make my own. I also am quite partial to tins of Devon custard when feeling under the weather

Mushroom soup and when I am enjoying a hangover - Black coffee, the only time I drink it black. Normally I don't even like the smell of coffee that much.

When I'm ill I may have hot drinks but I don't eat.
For me the body heals better when I don't eat if it's something like a cold. Luckily I don't get ill very often. |

Fish finger sandwiches. My Mum always used to make them for when when I was ill. I have no idea why! Oh and Lucozade to wash it down with

My mum would make me bread and milk (pieces of bread in warm milk) when I was a child, and probably a drink of Bovril. Now it would be boiled egg and a piece of bread with butter on or fish fingers.

Not food, but a drink. Robinson's Lemon Barley Water made with hot water. Comfort in a cup.

Scrambled eggs. I won't touch them when I'm OK, but I want them when I'm sick.

I eat them all the time but also when i'm not feeling great, like today, I find a mini pepperami and a couple of backs of Pickled Onion Space Raiders helps me out.

Tomato soup with cheese on toast. Also cottage pie, but I eat that when I'm not ill, too. It's just extra nice when you are a little bit ill.

If I am ill I either really want a chicken and mushroom pot noodle or fish and chips from the chip shop.
