The band will ruin this, like they ruined I Gotta Feeling the other week, and they've ruined some other ones as well.

Do we think its down their musical arranger messing around with the tempo or the plain awfulness of the singers

I think the music will be great for the routine, but I hate the jazzy muted cornet noise - not just on this song, but in general.
