you're just trying to find any excuse to hate Lady Gaga, by comparing her to other artists who you think are better (by the way i'm a fan of Bat For Lashes too), and using the hater's classic 'sheep' comment. you seem to be suggesting that for someone to warrant the massive success Gaga has enjoyed this year, they must be a perfect musician in every way... ok maybe i'm exaggerating there, but just be realistic. Gaga has proved herself as a talented musician beneath all the crazy outfits and odd behaviour, and it seems many people who were sceptical at the start are realising that and warming to her, which pleases me as a fan from the start.
The simple matter of the fact is this. If you don't like Lady GaGa, fine. But for the love of all decency, just refrain from laying down an insult that you think makes you look good. It doesn't. It makes you look stupid. As for calling her fans "sheep", that's about the most un-original and pathetic "insult" to use. Whether you like her or not, nobody can possibly argue that Lady GaGa has more talent than most recent musicians. I'm talking about the Cheryl Cole's etc. who don't have a good voice, don't play instruments, don't sing live, don't write their own lyrics etc. GaGa does ALL of these and does them well. Denying that fact is idiotic. She may come across as insane, with all the outfits, but it's all part of the act. The entertainment. Nobody could tell GaGa apart from other artists if the outfits weren't there. It's what makes her unique and different and why she has so many fans. |

Don't bother trying to argue with a hater. They are not going to even acknowledge that you are making sense and will only accept that they are the ones who know it all.

There's plenty of music I don't like, but I don't resort to insulting the singer's or band's looks, or call them 'nutters' or whatever. There's nothing wrong with disagreeing about the music and saying why you don't like it, but to just resort to insults - and also insult the fans - is really quite silly. |

"Imagine" should only sung by John Lennon, I think. Or maybe Paul McCartney at a stretch.
